What a place of Divine experience and the vibe was not explainable .. this was the first temple that was constructed .. but well maintained and managed .. many deities that were consecrated along with the main Ganesha deity can be seen and can seek their blessings.. they perform Abhishekam and all other Pooja rituals .. Must be present and experience .. all the idols are decorated and made in such a way it reflects their power and bringing beauty to the ornaments .. the priests there are doing very dedicatedly .. you can see place for performing yaga .. light lamps , Navagraha deities are present .. their canteen is also maintained with good taste and hygiene .. Very less price .. must taste the food .. you can get many varieties , lunch , snacks , sweets etc ., there are Few other temples around it like Raghavendar swamy temple which is opposite to the main temple , sai baba temple near to it which is also well maintained .. over all a must see one for those who seek the divine blessings in Newyork. They have parking place so identity the place and make sure you don’t struggle

Lots of positive energy. One of the first , may be the first Ganesh temple in North America established in 1977. Well operated and maintained

A Peaceful and Spiritual Experience at the Flushing Ganesh Temple

I've been visiting the Flushing Ganesh Temple for a few years now, and it continues to be one of the most peaceful and spiritually grounding places in New York. From the moment you step through the doors, there’s a calming energy that surrounds you. The temple is cleanly maintained, with traditional South Indian architecture that immediately takes you to the South India.

Whether you're attending the regular aarti or a special puja, the atmosphere feels genuine and deeply devotional. It’s not just a place for prayer—it’s a place where the community comes together.

One thing I absolutely love is the canteen downstairs. It’s a hidden gem! The food is authentic, affordable, and always hits the spot. Don’t miss the dosas and pongal if you visit—it’s like getting a taste of home.

It’s also impressive how well-organized everything is, especially during festivals when the crowds are huge. The volunteers do a great job managing the flow, and you can tell how much care goes into every detail.

Whether you're religious or just looking for a quiet space to reflect, the Flushing Ganesh Temple is worth a visit. It’s a special place that brings comfort and connection to...

One of the most peaceful and spiritual temples in New York City! The architecture and atmosphere instantly make you feel connected to Indian culture and devotion. The temple is clean, well organized, and the priests perform poojas very sincerely. The canteen downstairs serves some of the best South Indian vegetarian food — crispy dosas and filter coffee are a must-try. A perfect place for peace, prayer, and great food. Highly recommend visiting...
