Park on the street & then walk up to guard shack to check in. Friendly security guard. Check in only 1hr before your appointment time. Once checked in proceed thru the yard to the end of the building. Entrance to the receiving office in on the side of the builYard is medium size, enough room to back in but no room to stage. Walk into receiving office & check in with staff for a dock door & further instructions. Be patient as many dock doors will be temporarily occupied but soon empty. Back into an available dock & proceed back into the receiving office. Take your paperwork into the warehouse and find dock foreman. He’ll then direct you to an available loader that will handle your unload. Once unloaded the loader will then go outside & hand you your paperwork. Read moreVery unprofessional and they could care less if you have another load waiting or whether you were on time. Appointment was at 8.00am. Arrived 7.30am and was told to wait till 8am. At 8am I was then instructed to go to the receiving door which was located at the end of the building. Walked over and was told to park between door 5-9. Parked at door 9 and walked into the warehouse to submit my paperwork to the receivers.They had me wait in a holding area for 40mins before someone called me up and it’s now 9.50am and not one pallet is off the truck. I don't know of too many chefs who are actually fond of doing business with Pappas, it's almost a necessary evil in the club and hotel business. Out of control inflation not helping matters either. I'll stick with Restaurant Depot and purchase the rest of my epicurean products online from friendlier, more competitive vendors, thank you. Less hassle....
