Soundview Park Dog Run — Attraction in New York

I come to this dog park often. My dog loves it and she’s able to have fun off leash my only concerns are 1. Some people do not clean up after their dogs which is not only disgusting but unhealthy for everyone. 2. I wish the space was bigger there’s more than enough room to make it bigger so I don’t see why they couldn’t provide a bigger space especially for big dogs. 3. We started coming here because the Dog run on Pelham Pkwy has become overcrowded. People are busy on their phones or socializing and do not regulate/watch their dogs. We come here because they're usually empty. Our boys can run without fear of being attacked. The only complaint is that it doesn't get maintained well. People do not clean up after their dogs, causing it to smell and attract lots of flies. The greenery is completely overgrown. Some of the plants aren't dog friendly. Please take better care...

Please be cautious if you’re planning to visit this park with your dog. Unfortunately, the playground is currently in poor condition—with broken glass from a Corona bottle scattered inside, and dog feces left unattended in the dog park area. It’s disappointing that some pet owners are not cleaning up after their dogs, and even more troubling that there seems to be little to no maintenance being done.
