Bo‘licious Cafe — Restaurant in Newark

The place itself is nice and clean, the staff are very nice as well however I wouldn’t recommend spending money here. I’ve ordered from here three times. The 1st time was impeccable, eveything was great. The 2nd time the Mac and cheese had a very strong and overwhelming smell of feet from the cheese and the shrimp tasted funny. The 3rd and last time the chicken was very tough and the skin was chewy. I asked for extra crispy and it seemed like the chicken was only fried for about 2 minutes and slapped in buffalo sauce, it didn’t taste completely cooked. They serve whatever looking chicken wings .. odd looking and oddly shaped they’ll still serve it to you. The spinach is literally sautéed spinach .. no seasoning .. no nothing! I could do that at home. Take Spinach In a pot and add water till it’s mushy! The corn bread never tastes fresh! And it’s always hard. Overall this place is just not good in my opinion.
