My recent stay at Mojoy Homesuites At Runyon was nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my unfortunate experience. The unhygienic conditions in the room were beyond appalling. Stains littered the closets, making me question if the room had even been cleaned before our arrival. To top it off, the shared bathroom held a truly disheartening surprise - poo stains on the toilet seat. This level of filth is absolutely unacceptable, tarnishing the reputation of any establishment that claims to offer accommodation.
Adding to the frustration was the ambiguity surrounding the check-in time. The booking confirmation led us to believe that the owner would make an effort to accommodate our arrival time, only to find out upon arrival that we couldn't access our room until 15:00 PM. This lack of clear communication resulted in unnecessary inconvenience and uncertainty at the very start of our stay.
The unprofessional behavior exhibited by the property owner was nothing short of astonishing. Throughout our stay, we were met with a shocking lack of courtesy and helpfulness, even when making simple inquiries. It's disheartening to witness such disregard for the basic principles of hospitality, leaving us to question the standards of customer service in the industry.
Perhaps the most distressing aspect was the uncomfortable and unsafe environment. The state of the room itself was enough to make any guest uneasy, but the shared living arrangement with unknown male occupants was downright alarming. As a female guest, I felt incredibly uncomfortable and unsafe, as did the other women staying at the property. This kind of environment is simply unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the security and well-being of guests.
In conclusion, my stay at Mojoy Homesuites At Runyon was a nightmare from start to finish. The unhygienic conditions, lack of clarity about check-in time, unprofessional behavior of the owner, and the uncomfortable and unsafe environment made for an experience that I wouldn't wish upon anyone. I strongly advise potential guests to steer clear of this establishment unless they have a penchant for disappointment...
   Read moreI picked this place because my flight arrived in Newark after midnight. I figured how bad could it be for a place to shower and sleep a few hours before my cruise? There were 4 of us so we got 2 bedrooms. I do not like writing bad public reviews. I like to give the owners a chance to make things right first. So I did give this information to the host first. I allowed him 24 hours to respond before posting this review but I did not get a response after emailing him the picture that you see below. This is the reason that I gave 2 stars or posted at all. THE GOOD the host left bottles of water for us in the suite. There was a living area with TV and microwave. Instructions for wifi were clearly marked on back of door. The bathroom was functional and stocked with toilet paper. It was close to the airport. The Lyft to this location was only $8. THE BAD: it was freezing cold. We could not locate a thermostat. There was only 1 extra blanket even though there were three beds. There were no instructions in the host notes. I finally thought the email the host and 5 am. He did return an answer promptly that the thermostat was upstairs on the second floor. I did not sleep well because the trundle bed had a dip in it that made it difficult to get comfortable. The host left 4 bath towels but only 3 wash cloths for 4 people. THE UGLY:After finally giving up on getting a good night's sleep, we decided to strip the linen off the bed to make it easier for the cleaners.    Read moreDO NOT BOOK. NE PAS RĂSERVER. The conditions in which we are sleeping are NOT ACCEPTABLE. Thereâs no heat and the window of the bathroom is open and doesnât close because itâs broken !! Itâs winter time, the air is very cold and coming through the door into the bedroom. The blanket of the bed doesnât warm us (very thin), we are literally FREEZING and we are getting sick. We have to sleep with our winter jackets. The plugs arenât working, we tried them ALL, so we canât charge our phones. Electricity wires are coming out the ceiling. The room hasnât been cleaned AT ALL. The bathroom is DIRTY with lots of hair everywhere đ€ą. The curtains wouldnât block the light and the rod is broken. Plus there is a CIGARETTE on the dusty floor by the bed. See the photos below. The reception is ignoring our calls, they answered of one of our e-mail asking us to leave when we asked them to fix the window and to clean the room when we have already paid the full price !!!
