Caribbean Kitchen — Restaurant in Newark

I ordered food and got it delivered from uber eats. This was the first time trying Caribbean Kitchen and The food was 10 out of 10. Everything was packaged very neatly & presentation was perfect. I ordered the cassava balls which were amazing!! The chicken curry was delicious and the roti was so soft. The chicken fried rice was good also. I ordered a plait bread and some pine tarts and they didn’t disappoint. Everything was delicious and so fresh. Whoever is cooking has well seasoned hands 🙌🏽. Only feedback I have is the fried rice was missing something and the fried rice seasoning was a tad bit too much but it was still good. The portions are great also. I will definitely be ordering again...

So disappointed! I really wanted to like the food. Never in a million of my Guyanese years of living on this Earth have I EVER had cook up rice that was the same consistency as risotto! (Mushy and liquidy) What de rassss……Whoever made this rice please do not ever say you’re from Guyana! I got a bag of cheese rolls, which was good and some pone which was decent (but not enough to order again)! I guess I’m sticking to my people...

Ummmmm, I ordered the jerk chicken, chicken patties and roti on this past Sunday and I’m confused on why these ratings are so high. The jerk chicken had no flavor, definitely no hint of jerk and tasted like straight up rotisserie chicken. It was cooked well but the jerk chicken was not in the room with us.
