Every time I come to this Checkers in Newark, NJ, no one knows how to redeem the coupons that Checkers directly sends to us. They always say that the link doesn't work, the code is invalid, but then when I asked them to scan the QR code they're not able to scan the QR code. Make that make sense, because it doesn't. If your company sends out coupons with QR codes, you as the employee should be able to scan that QR code in order for the customer to be able to utilize the coupon. It's giving me scammer vibes. ( we not going to scan a QR code we just going to tell them to read the numbers to us and then after we have gotten the numbers, we'll tell them it's invalid, it doesn't work, and there's nothing we can do about it , so then they can use it later) that's the type of Vibes this gives me because this happens every time I come to this checkers❗️❗️🤬🤬 Then when you ask them questions like why is it that y'all never know how to redeem the coupons that is sent to us the customers from Checkers which is the company you work for they want to give us attitude, which is very unprofessional. The night I went there I asked for the corporate number and they told me to get it online. So I asked for the name of the manager on duty and she came to the window talking about my name is Nicole I'm the manager. She was very unprofessional and their attitudes suck, instead of trying to rectify the situation. They never have a solution to the issue which is being able to redeem the coupons either through the reward program or through the coupons that sent directly from checkers. If I go to any other Checkers they are able to redeem the coupons with no problem and guess what they scan the QR code without an attitude. It sucks that this is the only Checkers in Newark. The attitude of those workers will cause Checkers to lose customers and lose money!! Who wants to spend their money at a place that has horrible customer service and could never get anything right? I get offers from Checkers and I have to download certain things on my phone and fulfill those offers before getting coupons to be used at Checkers but with that type of service I would not use Checkers again. I made sure to call the corporate office right there in the parking lot to put in a complaint. Horrible all around. It's sad because you got people that's working there that don't care about the company's bottom line. If you don't like your job, quit!! No customer should have to be subject to your unprofessional attitude.The owners need to start pulling up at their own establishments to check and see how paying customers are being treated at their establishments. Read moreI was there visiting family from Fl. We stay close..so we decided to buy $60 in food there including the homeless guys outside. I wait in my car 15mnts to get my food so finally the employees bring it to us. I always check my food before I go home cause people can make mistakes so yes the forgot my toddler chicken bite box so I go inside ask nicely to get at the window supper nice,so she ask the other girl with the name of TT something like ,so she start making coments like uff hate when people have to lie about food. I said excuse me the I look the I need to lie,steal food? I spend$60 in food including the homeless food and you think the I'm gonna lie about some chicken bite so I call my some in the car to bring all the bags so she can see was not chicken bite there..the other dude trow my bag. I go back to the window to ask gor her name and manager name.cause was unnecessary the comment no everyone is like her maybe she have to lie o begging for food not me. Who know before I go home of course I stop and talk to Steve the ASM at the moment he did hear my complain but look like he don't care at all. People there need to go back in training and how work with customers service and food services.
