Their food is very good and I order from them frequently, however. If the young girl and young man is in the store, I will never order from there!!! The young lady was on the phone the entire time while she was servicing me. I called to make my order before I arrived and she said “the suya is cooking call back in 20-25 minute”. Telling me to call back as I’m trying to order is so unprofessional and a quick way to lose out on business. Then once I got there, she’s was on a Group FaceTime call talking loud and not even interested in what I was saying. The young guy went in the back to make my food. I ordered the suya, jollof rice and plantain, no cabbage. The platter comes with three components. He put the rice and 1 scoop a suya in the large component and 2-3 plantains in the two small components. I have never been served that little food for $23. Then when i said something about the serving the young girl barely payed attention to me because she was too busy in the phone. I got so pissed off I bagged my own food and left! If the owners, husband and wife, is not there when I want to order, I probably won’t order again. So disappointed this time around and I love their food. But todays customer service...
Read moreI found this place via Instagram right before my trip to NJ! I was so excited to try it. When I called I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to order being a vegetarian and most of the jollof dishes came with a meat or seafood. The person on the phone explained that I should get the Efo Riro with the jollof. I’m no stranger to jollof and this place has good jollof! The staff was so nice when I picked up my order and that’s a lot these days! Highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again when I’m back in town. P.S. that hole in the jollof was from me trying it out before recording...
Read moreOrdered via Uber eat , the food was well packaged on delivery. I had the Suya combo , with fried yam and plantains. The plantain was the best ripe state as I like them. The fried yam is a must with the side sauce , make sure you get it! There efo rioro is very spicy , so if your spicy level is very low, skip it. Also there efo is just plain spinach ,it doesn’t have little fish ore things like other places. Overall, my top food here is their Suya , plantain & fried yam with sauce.
I called in to make inquires about a canceled Uber order and they were very helpful with their...
