I stopped by this Dunkin Donuts on my way to NYC for a quick egg wake up wrap and hash browns. I waited a long time for my order and when I asked the girl if it’s ready, she went and picked it up from near the drive thru table. It was just sitting there, and would have stayed there for who knows how long if I hadn’t asked about it. Anyway, I took my food to the car and put my hash browns into the egg wake up wrap. Once I took a bite, I noticed that the egg wake up wrap was burnt/hard. I took it back to the store, and one of the girls took it to the back since I told her it was hard. Her coworker came forward and said, “you’re missing a couple of hash browns.” I told her the rest were in the car, and she still wanted me to bring them in. I’m not sure what the hash browns had to do with the burnt egg wake up wrap. The first girl came back and asked if it’s burnt or hard, as if I was lying or couldn’t get my story straight. I told her it was hard because of the fact that it was burnt. They ended up replacing the egg wake up wrap but obviously I lost the hash brown pieces that were in that sandwich. When she gave me the new sandwich, she wanted me to open the sandwich and make sure it was okay. She stared me down while I was doing so. They had a bad attitude and horrible...
Read moreI’m extremely disappointed with the service at this Dunkin location. I came in for walk-up service and stood at the counter for several minutes, not a single employee greeted me or even acknowledged that I was there. I could see several staff members in the back, but no one came forward to help. Eventually, one employee came out just to take the trash out and still didn’t say a word to me or offer any assistance. A customer, not even a worker had to speak up and tell the employee I was waiting, and the employee casually responded that someone else was supposed to be handling orders.
At that point, after being ignored for so long, I gave up and walked out. It was incredibly unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable. If your staff can’t manage basic customer service like saying hello or taking an order, then why are they even open? I will never return to this location and I strongly suggest others avoid it too until management steps up and starts holding their employees...
Read moreSomething was lost in translation. I had a hard time hearing the young lady taking my order. Apparently the speaker was not in good working order. And as a result, I received more than I ordered, and did not receive what I actually wanted. That was fine, however, I was not really pleased with my $16.00 'breakfast' of double bacon, double hash browns and two coffees. The bacon was good but cold, the hash browns were greasy, cold, and tasted like everything that was ever cooked in the fryer grease. The coffee was extremely hot and so full that I had to pour some out so that I could add sugar and cream myself. I have never been so disappointed in D&D. This location, (close to Newark International Airport long term parking), needs to be cleaned up and updated. It is too busy for the poor condition...
