I placed an order on uber eats at 4:40, had 3 different delivery people go there, food was never picked up and drivers kept cancelling, I decided to call the popeyes at 7:00 a whole 2+ hours (with the 3rd delivery person on the way to get my order) and I asked about the status of my order. Now there phone connection is horrible first of all, and when I finally got confirmation that they had my order, they read the order out loud to me, and I confirmed it was my order, they said it was ready, I then asked if they could at least make sure my food was fresh, and not sitting around for a while since I placed my order over 2 hours ago at this point, and the man said sure. Now almost 30 seconds after we finished this phone call, I get a notification that my order had been cancelled. I called back immediately, and asked why my order was cancelled, and he claimed he doesnt have the power to do that, and that theres nothing he can do about it, so i explained that that is not true at all, and that i pulled up ubers website with the cancellation information, saying merchants CAN cancel, and he hung up on me. I called back asking for the manager, and he said he was the manager, and proceeded to argue with me about the terms of uber cancelations while i had it pulled up clearly stating; The merchnats (popeyes) are allowed to cancel for 3 reasons: 1 ran out of the food on order 2 does not have allergy specific food / preparation ability 3 overwhelming amount of orders / customers at this point hes talking over me, trying to say i dont know what im talking about, and that i need to place another order if i want food from there, and hung up. I called back to let him know I was going to make a complaint since he cant seem to be any sort of professional or accommodating in any way so i asked for his name, and he said he doesnt need to talk to me anymore, and hung up.
