Let me start by saying that this was ordered from Uber eats so I have no idea about the service in the store or the atmosphere and because of that I didn’t want to give it a bad review as far as that so I just kept it at five stars. I’m a vegetarian. I ordered falafel with rice and you have the choice of salad or french fries. I chose french fries. And you have a choice of sauce and I chose the white sauce. I also ordered baklava which was OK. It was nothing to write home about. Especially because it’s walnut and I thought I’d try it, but I really like pistachio baklava better. It had some hard pieces when I bit into it. I’m a little bothered by the fact that you get this little triangle of pita. So I took away one star because of the little triangle of pita and I also took away one star because of the description in Uber eats. They’re not very forthcoming as to exactly what you’re getting so when they say pita in the description, they’re not telling you, you that you get this little triangle of pita. I have never had falafel with this tiny little piece and so therefore, I had to take a star away for that. The flavor of the falafel was good. The rice was good. The shoestring french fries were OK and the sauce was good. My only issue is that the falafel was very dense , very heavy and a little overcooked. So I’m not sure that I would order from them. I really would have to think about it and try them again. Maybe give them another chance. I’m not saying not to go. I’m just giving you my personal experience.

Tasty wrap. It's even great after pulling from the fridge and toasting for 10 minutes in the toaster oven. The place I normally order from has their platter for cheaper plus includes hot sauce (on the side) as well. Free delivery at Halal Boyz is with $25 purchase or more while the other place is with $15 or more so for now, I'll only be a repeat customer if my normal place to eat from is closed for the day. Update: The other store is always showing closed after placing an order so Halal Boyz is now my go-to place. I buy enough to get free delivery and pop the rest in the fridge to toast for lunch the next day. It actually taste more delicious the next day. šŸ˜‹

When I preordered over the phone guy was very polite and helpful. A lot of the reviews did not have updated menus and prices so I update below. I ordered the 6 piece whiting with french fries and a fish fillet sandwich. I must say you get your monies worth in this place. It was a little expensive ($15.00), but the fish was definitely worth it. The sizes were absolutely filling after just 2 pieces, if that. (Only issue is it was lightly seasoned) The fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly so it was actually a good combo. This fish fillet was again lightly seasoned l, but it was okay for the most part. Give this place a try if you like halal food.

I have ordered from this restaurant quite frequently. I had gotten my first taste of Halal food while visiting in NYC. You know the lunch hour food truck experience. This truck of gentlemen had a long line near the United Nation building. It was the start of my looking for a local restaurant that serves such. I found the Halal Boyz on DoorDash. The food is good but they don’t given you, your money worth on any size. Which I found disheartening. Their not consistent when it comes to cooking their meat. I had ordered the combination platter chicken and gyro meat. It was very good seasoned and cooked well. Two days later I ordered again. This time there was less food and it arrived cold. So off to the microwave it went. I was so disappointed by both the looks and the taste ā€œ No it wasn’t the microwave, it was only in it for 30 secondsā€. It was dry and had no taste. The meat looked as if they put it through a micro shedder. Guys you have to do better. Customers enjoy consistency with great...

Just got off a plane from Austin, TX and after picking up the rental car at 1 am, made the stop to grab some food from Halal Boyz on the way to our Airbnb. I was initially skeptical about the place, but the food and service, both exceeded my wildest expectations. The gentleman who took our order was so polite and courteous that it felt like we were back in the South. They LOADED our platters up to the brim and gave us so much extra sauce for free! For the price point of $10/plate, the amount of food given was exceptional. The food was very flavorful (highly recommend the chicken over rice bowl) and fresh. Finally, this place is open so late that it was perfect since our flight got in after midnight and pretty much everything else was closed. If I could give this place 10 stars I would....
