Read moreIt shames me to leave this type of review, but i must let people know that the food is terrible. The food is bland, no flavor, nothing like the picture you see in the menu.
I am Mexican, and i cook for my family most of the time. For new years and special events.... I cook for those i love. Here is my experience......
I ordered a Torta de Milanesa. (Breaded steak sandwich) . The bread was dry with no flavor. The meat was burn in the breaded part side. The meat was extremely salty and dry. The refried beans seem like out of a can. The lettuce was of a Cesar salad type cut. The lettuce made the no flavor bead soggy because it was not dried or shaken before out in sandwich. I SPECIFICALLY ASKED AND PAID $8.00 FOR DOUBLE MEAT!!!!! I WAS NOT GIVEN DOUBLE MEAT. The read hot sauce was like taco bell no flavor sauce. I then asked for jalapeños......and was given cheap jalapeños that i would not even find at the movies. The food is just horrible. I am embarrassed that a Mexican restaurant is serving this food. Why?????????? The bread was doughy and no flavor , just a waste of money and time. I had not had such a bad meal in a long long time. Do not eat here. I am very...
Read moreReally good tacos. Avoid the burritos - I don’t understand places that list all these delicious ingredients in their super burritos, but end up with only rice, beans, meat and nothing else… despite advertising guac, crema, queso, pico de gallo, etc on the menu. Otherwise excellent quality food. Really good salsa also.
Edit: I gave it a third chance for the super burrito. Guess what - same thing! Just rice, beans, and a bit of meat, and NOTHING ELSE. The menu says sour cream, guacamole, cheese, pico de gallo, everything…. BUT, still great tacos. Although, one time I ordered a super taco and they gave me a regular taco, so I’m starting to think they just don’t want to make the “super” version of anything, and the customers just have to overpay until we get the message. Why does it have to this difficult?
Also, menu prices don’t match what you actually pay. I REALLY REALLY want to like this place, but I don’t know what’s happening and maybe the owners just don’t...
