Newark Pavilion — Attraction in Newark

My family has been renting this place out for years to host parties with no issues.7/20/24 I drove all the way from Los Angeles to a family quinceañera with my wife and my sister, I will admit the wrongdoing we tried bringing a bottle of tequila into the party security handled the situation with the utmost lack of professionalism attempting to scream at my sister like she was a child my sister did not let that slide and let security know that she was not a child that she would put the bottle away. We thought this would have been the end of the story.The entire time we where there we could see the security looking at my wife,my sister and I suspiciously. During the quinceañera we decided to step out to get away from the loud music for a minute and head to my car as soon as we got in my car we got followed by a security guard telling us that we cannot be drinking in the car? When there was no drinking going on. That security guard walked away and within seconds another female security guard comes up to my car to tell us that we are banned and no longer permitted to enter the quinceañera? My wife,my sister and I attempted to speak to the manager, family members at the party attempted to speak to him attempted to reason with security/management we actually even showed them the bottle that we tried bringing in and proved to them that it was still sealed that what they were doing was unfair. The security staff and manager pulled a power move and threatened my family to shut down the quinceanera if we did not leave the property. Everyone beware the lack of professionalism by the staff at this location is absolutely ridiculous. All the security here have Mexican flag badges on their uniforms, which must mean they're working by Mexican standards and holding people guilty until proven innocent. All the men the manager the security guards involved in the situation behaved like gossip girls and wanted to prove that they were the ones in charge. The single female security present on that day was even worse she pulled a power move and when the manager was actually going to let us back into the quinceanera she whispered something to him that made him blow a fuse and threaten to shut down the party if we didn't leave. This location is a great place to have parties but beware of the staff they are the worst. I'm going to cross my fingers and hope that all these people don't have any other form of power other than here in this location because their egos are too large to prevent them from abusing their power...

The 75th annual Mineral and Gem show of Castro Valley was on this weekend showcasing several vendor members collections of beautiful crystals, gems, stones including jewelry! Our first time here, we were here for East Bay Car Show. It was a pretty good turnout. The parking lot was a little rough. You need to watch your step when walking around. The restrooms in the hall were clean. The restroom on the side was disgusting. They had a lot of food vendors but not a lot of hiding spots for shade. I'm looking forward to coming...
