This restaurant was a true pleasure! Let me explain why...

All week, I had been craving a burger, but work and other commitments prevented me from getting one. The anticipation grew. Towards the end of the week (Friday or Saturday, I can't recall exactly), I found myself immersed in yard work, battling what seemed like an endless sea of weeds. After hours of labor in the hot sun, mixed with blood, sweat, and tears, I finally emerged victorious! What better way to celebrate my freedom than with a juicy cheeseburger?

All Star had been on my list for some time, with numerous recommendations. One look at the menu, and I knew I had to go! My first impression was that the place had a wonderful, old-time feel. The menu itself evoked a sense of nostalgia. I believe it's family-run (though I could be mistaken), which is always a plus for me. Small businesses are the best!

As for the food—absolutely fantastic! It was exactly what I had envisioned when craving a burger, and it truly hit the spot! Perhaps my hard day's work contributed to my enjoyment, but I wholeheartedly loved this meal, and I think many others would agree. 12/10 recommend! Go and...

I first came with my coworkers, then we told the rest of our coworkers and came back again. I then went with my partner whose comfort food is burgers. It was so good, we went again with their sister. Today, was the first time I had their breakfast veggie omelette and it did not disappoint. I freaking love this place and I will forever recommend this place to anybody looking for one of the best burgers in the Bay Area. I love this place. I lived across the street from this restaurant for 4 years, and this restaurant is an absolute delight. It doesn't look like much, but don't let that fool you: I have had almost everything on the menu, and everything on the menu is made tasty and well. Great omelettes, fantastic Philly cheesesteak, yummy pastrami sandwich, delight Chicken Teriyaki over rice, Hawaiian breakfast, the list goes on. And as I mentioned before, their chocolate milkshake is perfect. I have never found a better one, and their milkshake is the standard by which I judge all other milkshakes.
