Magic Cones Plant Based Ice Cream Parlor — Restaurant in Newark

Update: I finally caught this place open during late summer (maybe mid-August). Unfortunately I didn't have any ice cream because they ran out of my preferred choice but the folks that I was with enjoyed the chocolate vegan ice cream wven though they are not vegans. While I was there several other people came to purchase ice cream and shakes. The customer service was nice. I would go back again (in hopes of adding additional stars). Three stars for now.

Please note I have never purchased any items from this parlor. The star rating is required in order to share a review. I gave two stars because the place actually exists and the store front appears nice. However, Magic Cones has never been open anytime I've gone. I went there at least twice. Once during the day in the summer, but the most recent was the day I took the photos because the hours on Google showed the store was open until 9pm on a Saturday in 18 January 2025. It was not. I suggested new hours because I was at the store at least 2 hours before the stated closing and as you can see the shutters are down in the photo. I hope to try the ice...

The best ice cream in the area. I would place some chairs and some sort of umbrella in the front or a bench simple, so people can seat, that could add a better atmosphere to the business. But the food is...

Nothing short of amazing... Don't wait.. Go and visit... Had soursop ice cream served in a edible 🥥 as opposed to a cup with mango 🥭 and 🫐...... Again amazing.... And the prices are...
