Orange Kitchen — Restaurant in Newark

This is my favorite Chinese spot. The food is always good and fresh. The lady that takes the phone orders is efficient and very nice. I've been ordering from here for over a decade. I have tried other places but always come back here.

My favorites: The BEST wonton soup you will ever have. Try it! Chicken and broccoli is delicious. Their shrimp fried rice is really good. Cheese wontons are also soo good.

Looks can be deceiving… The place itself looks a little sketch for sure. However I’ve eaten there several times now & order different things each time. The Egg Rolls and Fried Rice are legit SO GOOD! The Lo-main, the Vegetables & any Roasted Pork items have all been very good as well! The two things I’ve tried & did not like was; 1.) Dumplings they were soggy, tasteless and weird looking. 2.) I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered takeout, and while I was waiting, I saw one of the staff members drop a piece of broccoli on the floor. Instead of throwing it away, they picked it up and put it right back in the box of rest broccoli like nothing happened. That’s completely unsanitary and unprofessional. If this is how they handle food in front of customers, I can’t imagine what happens behind the scenes. I won’t be ordering from here again. STAY...
