This welcoming neighborhood Masjid serves a diverse congregation, primarily African American, North African, and Arab. The economic backgrounds of attendees range from lower to upper-lower and lower-upper classes, with a wide representation of self-employed individuals. The Masjid accommodates approximately 400+ worshippers for Jumaa (Friday) Prayer and offers all five daily prayers. During Ramadan, Tarawih and Tahajjud prayers are also conducted. Celebrations of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha are observed with community involvement. The women’s prayer and personal space is located on the lower level, while men occupy the main level. The Masjid offers Arabic lessons, Umrah and Hajj packages, weekly Jumaa khutbahs, lecture CDs, and annual fundraiser banquets. They also host an Eid Kids’ Day featuring rides, games, and food.
