Pacific Fish & Crab House — Restaurant in Newark

So my son put me on this place for their fried seafood which always good to me. Yesterday I called to ask if they had live crabs they said no only cooked crabs which was kinda weird to me because why not sell live? I’m thinking aren’t they live before you cook them ? However Today I decided to get steamed crabs from there I normally go in miller street because there crabs are always good but getting expensive . However I asked for dozen large at first then thought about it Nawwww let me just get 1/2 because I wasn’t sure of the taste.so I get home opened up one immediately I smelled a rotten smell and the meat was mushy ! So I’m like okay 1 bad crab cool let me open up another . I opened up 4 they all smelled so bad! I called the place told the man the situation he said bring them back! Mind you I only paid $15 for crabs now at this point I’m wasting more gas to go back .. ok gets there give the man the crabs he said so what you wanna do? I said please give me some fresh crabs because obviously these crabs were already dead when y’all cooked them ( I’m thinking this is why they don’t sell live ones they want to give us the dead ones too) as little as they know I’m a real blue crab eater so I know for a fact them crabs were dead ok he give me exactly 6 more not even 1 extra due to me being inconvenienced! But he didn’t care! However I get the second batch home .. the first crab 🦀 was ok not great and as I continued to open up another crab that smell once again . I just threw it all away ! Bad business seriously.. just my experience not saying it’s always like this mabe someone else had a better experience. But today wasn’t a good day for me with them crabs! I did order jumbo fried shrimp which are 10 for $8 which is a really good price and they were delicious.
