Not rating on atmosphere as this isn't a place you expect atmosphere and that's fair enough, there isn't any. It's designed to be a pizza factory and crank those out which it does quite well. Every order I've ever placed here, I've been given a 10-15min estimate as to when to pick it up and and I have to say, I've never had it take 15 minutes for my pizza to be ready for pick-up, and often it's ready in under the 10 min end of it that as well but typically it's done right around the 10 minute mark which is pretty impressive, especially when a lot of other places I order from will give you a 30-45min time for pickup when it's anywhere near dinner time. Beyond that, this is one of the few places that post COVID-19 is still open to a fairly decent late time. Want a pizza after midnight in this area, your choices are either Papa John's or dominos. I'm not going to say Papa John's is great pizza or even all that much better than dominos (maybe slightly better) but i need to give the delivery guy props for coming through the other day. I was admitted into the hospital unexpectedly at 9am and had been there all day but they didn't feed me anything as they were hoping to perform surgery that evening (which they did but didn't tell me the reason for not feeding me all day but that's just the beginning of all that went wrong there, think I might have to review the hospital sometime soon as well!). Cut to the chase, I'm just out of surgery, it's now 11:30pm, I hadn't had anything to eat since 9am and that consisted of a donut and a can of coke (throw in a cigarette and you'd have the breakfast if champions, just ask Belushi!) and honestly had been sick enough, that if I had eaten 1000 calories in total for the 3 previous days, I would be surprised to hear it was that many. They finally brought me food and there was literally nothing I could eat on the tray so I asked if there was any way I could get a pizza delivered, the nurse checked my chart, saw I was listed for a normal diet and said I could if I wanted. Now I was still coming out of anesthesia mind you so I'll more than take the blame on any failing on this order (for instance, the name it was to be delivered to was my partners who was the last to place and order on our account which also had my partners phone number as the contact number. I realized all this about 5min or so after my estimate for when the driver should have arrived according to the map on the website. I'm sure he probably tried calling the number but my partner would have been dead asleep with phone off by them having work in the morning so realizing all this I called Papa John's and they told me the driver was there but couldn't find where to deliver it. The poor guy had been there for 10 minutes trying to find the wrong guy with the wrong number and also had to future out which building and how to get it to me so I told the restaurant the correct name and to leave it with security at the front door who were aware of the situation by this point. I've delivered pizza before and I know this is almost the worst kind of delivery to get, the worst being when you can't even make the delivery and then all your time and effort and gas have been wasted so I'm very glad that wasn't the case but to his credit he not only stuck to it long enough and made the delivery and by the time it got to me it was shockingly still warm... on a night that the temperature was below 32🌡️ out and he had been outside trying to figure out where to take the thing for over 10 minutes oh yeah and with a thin crust pizza the thing should have been ice cold but somehow still warm. I of course made sure to order enough to offer some to the staff at the hospital and for my roommate (roommate was the only one who took me up on it but he said it was good so that's 2 votes good pizza) and definitely got the driver of the year vore from me as well. (Not sure I would've stuck around that long if it was me making the delivery still). So to whoever delivered the first thing I had eaten in days, thank you so much! You're...
Read moreThis review was a lil hard. This papa John's location used to be one of my favorites. But now the staff is always changing and it shows. The pizza crust is too doughy, and the toppings are gooey. They even give you an option of well done, but it still is never cooked properly. They sell a lot of delivery so when you enter there are literally boxes all over the place. And they cook the pies too fast. I even tested it. I parked in the lot and ordered my pizza over the phone. In just about ten minutes my pizza was ready. It's impossible to be properly prepared and cooked in that little bit of time. The staff always seems to be having too much fun than being professional. And it shows in the quality of the pizza. It's not a bad place. Just not a good place no...
Read moreI ordered from this store and they got nothing right. The only reason I’m even giving a star is because I was delivered some type of food. I received a pizza ....cut incorrectly with maybe 2 pepperoni’s on it and a mushroom on the whole pie that I ordered to be covered in both toppings. They didn’t include the drink I paid for and didn’t put the sauce I ordered in the box.
Not only that, when I called to see if they could resolve the issue who ever answered was of no help, said someone would call me back and it’s now the next day and I still haven't received a call. If someone called me back and offered an emailed coupon for next time or something of the sort I would have been happy with that, but I didn’t even get the call back.
Never ordering...
