Roberto's Pizza — Restaurant in Newark

2 hours for pizza! When I placed the order they said 40 min. After an hour I called and asked how much longer- "A few minutes, he's on his way" 15 min later I called back and asked where the driver was exactly. They called the driver and asked him how far he was and he said 5 min. Food was obviously cold. They had the AUDACITY to call me because they didn't take down the correct credit car card number. I said "why should I give you the right number after everything that's happened tonight?" She said she'd have to pay for my order out of pocket if I didn't give her the number. So I gave her the number but asked to be compensated. I said "instead of charging be $30, charge me $27, anything to show y'all are trying to make things right" She said she already charged the card but I could get something free in the future. I hung up. I'm not ordering from them again. This isn't an isolated incident but it is the first time it escalated...

Roberto’s Pizza (Avon Ave) delivered quickly!!!! On the flip side, I could not eat the grilled chicken salad they prepared. The chicken in the salad did not have the “normal” grilled look or taste. It is also oily. I called to inform the establishment of the issue and was repeatedly told that it was grilled and that it is baked and then grilled….. I am currently starving at work because I expected to eat the salad I paid for…. yikes. The chicken wings my coworker ordered were good though. Do not order grilled chicken salad from this establishment if you expect a familiar looking/ regular grilled...

I called to place a order and gave the person on the phone my card thinking that they charged it right then and there because the man said ok and hung up. I get a call from the man telling me my card is declined. Uhhh yea…I locked my card back up after you to me everything was ok. Then it hit me. You wrote my card number down?
