Absolutely horrible experience. This was my first time going to Salsarita’s. There was an African American girl with ponytails( I did not receive her name,as she did not even give me a professional greeting, so this is the best I can describe who I am regarding to) I greeted her twice, but she did not hear me because she had her AirPods on and hunched down watching her cellphone. So I stood there awkwardly until she looked at me. I greeted her again and no response she gave me a blank stare. So I told her my order and she started making my order when she stopped and said “ I didn’t even say anything to you?” And I was like yeah that’s the point. As a professional you greet your customers with a warm welcome.Customer Service is what hospitality is all about. She began to get hostile and continue arguing. I told her to just please make my order. As she continued I went to the cashier and told her if anyone else can make my order because the other employee was totally disrespectful and unprofessional. It’s not until another girl offered to make my order and was extremely accommodating and professional. The rude employee went back to speaking disrespectful and then hunched over again, place her headphones back in her ears, and scrolled on her phone. I’m embarrassed and disappointed at this service and employee. What a horrible...
Read moreFood to me is to enjoy it and if the food is not up to an okay standards I feel like is just a wasted my money but what could make it better? Customer service would be the answer. Today I went to salsaritas in Newark airport terminal B and for the second time I had I bad experience the first time they overcharged me claiming that some of the stuff in my plate was two dollars extra and I asked them why they didn’t tell me ahead of time and they didn’t have an answer. Today I was very specific and I told them I didn’t want anything that cost me extra from the original price. Guess what? Once the server finished another employee (young female) informed him she was going to take over and my plate that should have cost me around $15 end up being almost $20 I asked her why and she said the same thing as before. Now is sad because there food is not Mexican their beans are dried and the same thing with the rice honestly I don’t think they will survive but I feel is their fault the company should hire more honest people instead they trying to sell dishes that are not up to the standards. if you don’t believe me try it. keep in mind is not the money is the...
Read moreWe came here during their first year of being open and everything was great. Great customer service cleanliness and food. Unfortunately things have gone drastically downhill. Over the last few months we have eaten here several times, but we continue to be disappointed. Today was our last attempt, and we were just as unhappy with our meals as in other recent visits. The food portions were skimpy. The meat, rice and beans were crusty and old, the lettuce and cilantro were brown and not fresh, and the cheese dip had a congealed top. Sadly it’s clear this manager, unlike those in the past, is not interested in running a quality operation, and this is reflected in the the restaurant which seems dirty and unwelcoming. We spent $45 on three lunches that were definitely not worth that cost, and we chose to eat outside to avoid the smoky burnt smell and negative vibes inside. I’m sure the owner of this franchise and upper Salsaritas management would be horrified to see what this location has...
