Tacos are absolutely delicious, best tacos I’ve ever had. I recommend the carnitas but if you’re not into the fat then the steak(bisteck) ones are the next best. Their tacos also come with pickled vegetables on the side which make it even more delightful. I devour the whole container in less than five minutes haha. They are very kind and respectful and offer amazing costumer service. I don’t know why anyone would rate it lower than a four but maybe they were just having a bad day because I’ve known this taquerias for years now. Ever since they were located by Montclair Ave and I have never had a bad experience. I’ve recommended it to many people and they have all loved it. Food is very subpar . Not very tasty and they barley fill the tacos . Your paying 12$ more to just order tacos from a Mexican spot . It wasn't worth the trip or money . Honestly still hungry after eating here . Very disappointed more so with the quality and size of the food . The people were great though very nice . As a suggestion please fill your tacos like many of the surrounding taco places do and not just put the bare minimum into a taco . Also the meat in the birria tacos is just steak that you covered in red sauce not slow cooker pull apart meat like most people do when they make birria tacos. Overall experience was great. The decor feels homey and there is music playing in the background. I was immediately greeted when I came in. There was only one other customer. We both got our orders fast. I ordered birria tacos (different proteins like chicken and steak). All were very good. Better than any I have tried before. You can tell that they stay true to their roots while flavoring meats and they include fresh ingredients in the tacos. The horchata was good but I truly enjoyed trying mora too.
