Tony + Benny's — Restaurant in Newark

I went to buy 3 pizza slices. One pizza slice was 5.5$ approx. I did a mistake not taking the receipt. Next day, I checked my bank app and saw that they charged me 50$! for 3 slices of pizza. After I called and talked to one of the employees, the supervisor came on the phone too. When she heard my situation she started laughing and told me that her employer will only be able to talk to me next Monday. This was happening Friday 1:50.I gave her my phone number and I am waiting to be contacted by the restaurant owner. She assured me that my money will be returned. I give 1 star in this review because they messed this up badly and I did not like the attitude I was given when I called to complain about the service. I do not have the mood and time to "run" for my money, that should be in my pocket, not in somebody else's pocket. PS: Nobody...

Tony and Benny’s pizza parlor is a nice place to get pizza, garlic bread and also drinks if you’re thirsty. On top of the wonderful pizza offerings, they also have cookies and freshly made rice and baked chicken. The pizza station is manned by an expert pizza maker and he keeps the station very clean is on display for everybody to see.

The workers are very friendly if not professional. They can answer any questions you have concerning any dietary restrictions. They were very happy to let me know anything that I had questions for.

I think that whoever manages and trained the people at Tony and Benny‘s, maybe Tony and Benny themselves, they should be very proud of the team here at Newark liberty...

On January 27th, 2024, around 4 pm, I ordered two pizzas. The wait was longer than usual. When I asked the guy serving guests at the bar, who appeared to be of Indian descent, he was incredibly rude. I tried to show him on my phone that my flight was departing in 10 minutes, and asked if he could check on my order, but his attitude was far from friendly. This was the worst experience of my trip to NYC. I hated how that guy treated me, but I didn't have time to argue with him. I won't be returning to this...
