Terrible customer service!!! My husband ordered a breakfast sandwich and a Pepsi. The girl working rang it up and then said we don't have any Pepsi we have Jaritos and Gingerale, he said he would take the Jartitos. The price went up $2.00. She did not have any thing to open the bottle so she decided to open it using the counter, she broke the glass bottle and proceed to pour the soda from a broken bottle into a cup. She seriously though that was appropriate there was most likely glass in it. He said he didn't want it and she refused to refund it. Finally after arguing the other girl gave him the Gingerale with no $2.00 refund. I have never experienced anything like this. The owner needs to educate their staff because serving soda from a broken bottle is a serious...

Terminal A 1/2 latte for the price of a full. Cashier rang me up for a sesame bagel when I asked for a poppy seed, she changed it to everything bagel and after I brought it to her attention for the second time, it was clear that she had no clue what a poppyseed bagel was and said they didn’t have it. As if that wasn’t enough, she charged me for an iced latte when I ordered a hot one. Basically she wanted to decide for me what my breakfast should be. When she couldn’t understand my name I showed her my credit card yet she spelled my name the way she wanted and it wasn’t even close or an actual person’s name. I’ll give her credit for getting the first letter right…Great...

Let me start by saying that I've ordered from other Zaro's locations many times and always loved it. However, I got the worst latte I've ever had from the Zaro's in Terminal A at Newark Airport today. It was pretty much a watered down coffee. When I asked the lady about it, she just sternly stated that it was a latte and looked at me like I was crazy. Anyone can tell by just looking at it that it's definitely not a latte. On top of that, the spinach pastry was $10.95??!! Of course, there were no price labels on the pastries because the prices are absurd. Big regrets, just get a bagel with cream cheese...

It’s pretty incredible how awful the Newark Airport Zaros experience is. Firstly the staff: we visited at 6am. The staff could not have been less interested, or able. Serving one item, per customer, at a time and unable to remember even basic menu items, they took nearly ten minutes to serve two people. The two bagels we ordered (that had to be given three times because the staff couldn’t cope with a basic order) were stale, and the filling cold. Oh, and they were $11 each. It’s amazing that such a simple, supposedly fast experience could be so aggressively bad in such a short space of time. Bravo, I guess?
