Chinatown Restaurant — Restaurant in Newberry

I’ve been going here the past 3 years. However the past few months have been horrible and I’ve seen a real drop in quality and service. They now have their underage kids working the counter in the evenings. Orders are often wrong and food is taking much longer to prepare and wait for. I witnessed more than a couple times where people were either charged too much or their order was wrong during the 35-40 minutes that I had waited for my order which was wrong once I got it home and inspected it closer. When I drove back to the restaurant the owner didn’t want to correct it insisting that what I got cost more on the menu despite it not being what I had ordered so I should be happy. I stated that despite the price difference if I had wanted the more expensive item that I would’ve ordered it. After an intense debate, about me just wanting what I had ordered and not even compensated for my additional inconvenience or driving/time the owners laughed and heckled me in Mandarin to each other like I was a lunatic for not wanting the more expensive dish despite me explaining that I didn’t like that particular food. Me knowing a fair amount of Korean allowed me to pick up on a few words however, their behavior made now attempt at trying to conceal what they were talking about. I’ve never seen restaurant owners or management EVER behave in such a manner. Your business will never be appreciated here and they will expect you to pay for their mistakes with zero apologies or professionalism. I nor my family will EVER go back here. I've always at China Town and the food be great. But tonight I went there and got the garlic chicken wit shrimp fried rice. I whengot home to eat wasn't happy. I a but load of onions than chicken and rice. I called back the lady said I told that it come a lot of veggies that I didn't want and that a lil onions was fine. I said ma'am I told u I was hearing impaired. She kept saying I told u and I said again I'm hearing impaired. Meaning I'm hard of hearing. And she said that's noty problem. I have NEVER been as infuriated with a business as I am right now. The food was mediocre at best, but what chapped my hide was that the idiots tried to sell me CRAWFISH (MUDBUGS) instead of the “LOBSTER” that is on the menu.
