Let’s start with the GOOD: 1. There were large portions of sides. 2. The hush puppies were good. 3. The food came out fast. 4. The presentation of the food was great. Alright….now the BAD: 1. The catfish was a small filet cut in half…TINY. 2. The seasoning on the catfish was non-existent. It was VERY bland. 3. The Cole Slaw was a waste of a side. It comes in a 2-oz plastic ramekin and was vinegary. 3. The onion rings were salty and UNDERCOOKED. 4. The restrooms were outdated and gross, one of the sinks was stopped up and almost overflowed. 5. Some of the booths are ripped up. 6. The cashier lied and said the catfish was cornmeal-battered and IT WAS NOT. 7. The booths were so big that neither my husband nor myself could be comfortable and we had to sit at the edge of the booth to eat. 8. My stuffed crab was overcooked and DRY. Needless to say, with it being my first time here, I won’t be back. This was a waste. I took a couple of bites, boxed that crap up, took it home, and tried to it to where I could eat it, but I did not succeed. So I let the trashcan eat it.

We are sitting here at Mig's having lunch now. We stumbled upon this place by accident as the restaurant we were originally going to had closed their buffet. I am so glad we found Mig's! What I can tell you is this place is clean, the servers Kaitlyn and Madison were friendly and pleasant, the atmosphere was comfortable. The best part though? The food! We ordered the Philly steak and cheese daily special. It was a 6" Philly loaded with onions, peppers and cheese. Stuffed even! It is hands down the best Philly I've ever had. It also came with a mound of really crispy fries. I'm going to need carry out service to get back to my car, I"m so stuffed! This place is reasonably priced and the portions are massive. Worth every penny. We will be back soon!

A great local place. We're from out of town but this is a place to come back to. The servers make you feel at home with suggestions (on what to try AND what to avoid). Party of 8 and I feel like we got one of almost everything. Stuff with the marinara sauce were the winners. Cheese sticks, pizza, and spaghetti were awesome. Garlic cheese bread and pizza were super cheesy and ate a bit greasy (but you aren't coming here for a diet). The chicken fingers were the surprise. I expected them to be frozen but clearly weren't and super juicy. Let downs: hush puppies. Not bad just not my favorite. Shrimp po'boy. Shrimp was cooked well but the lettuce and tomato thrown on top is a bit uninspired.

Updating my original review from months ago. This place has changed . Prices are now very expensive and food quality not good. Boy ordered a cheese calzone . $14.99 and it was not fully cooked. Wife order crispy chicken salad with honey mustard dressing. Other boy orders pasta bake and pasta was crispy and half burnt. Dressing was literally mustard with very little honey and not a salad dressing. She asked for a second one and the same . Took salad home to use dressing we had. I ordered small pizza and too much sauce and very doughy. If you like it that way to each their own. Also kids added side of fries and they are 4.00 each and not many . They try to spread them out in bigger plastic dish to give you illusion of more. Be careful ordering gift certificates as they charge you tax on those . Have brought this up to owner in past as well that this happens so it is double taxation. My visits get further and further apart and may not go back for a long time now. There is no sit down service as you order at counter. Fill up your own drinks and they expect full tip. Bill for 2 adults and 2 kids with small tip was $95 with one entree a small pizza. Unfortunately it was Monday night and not much open for dinner that is not a drive thru although they do have drive thru. Owner not around last night as he usually will brag about how good his food is (annoying when it is not) or I could have talked to him...

As soon as you walk in the door, you are told by the man working up front that you have an ice cold drink. Not told that you're getting charged $2.69. I was pushed more than 3 times to try the monzerrella sticks after saying no thank you each time. I ordered a burger, and it came up on the computer for $1.50 more than the menu. I asked and was shown the sign that shows "prices are subject to change without notice". He proceeded to say the prices on the menu went up, and they haven't changed the sign yet, that's why he put up the "prices are subject to change" sign. I ordered fried pickles, and get charged $0.85 for ranch, since it doesn't come with anything. When I got the pickles, it came with a cup of blue cheese, no ranch. I ask the lady who brought them for ranch, and she brings another blue cheese, and says she will have to make some more ranch. She then proceeds to wipe down and clear tables. She brought the ranch once the pickles were gone.

Overall, if your prices change, change the menu. If I'm ordering something that you've raised the price on, at least...

Without a doubt the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I drove 45 min to eat there too. The children that were working that night (I say children bc there wasn't anyone over 18 to be found) had no manners at all. Our food (pizza and Philly cheese) took 40 min and when I went to ask about halfway through, it was "up next". When it came, it was wrong ! And not only that, it was cold. It took so long and was still cold.... Which means it has BEEN ready but just sitting. So, I took it back to the counter and explained the situation and the girl took my plate without saying a word and walked off....ummmmm ok and the strikes just kept coming. It was extremely expensive for this kind of service, and let's be honest, it doesn't matter how cheap something is, you deserve to be treated with a modicum of respect. But when there's not an adult to run the show, and the kids in charge have zero respect or manners, this is what you get. Get takeout, go through the drive through to pick it up and enjoy your food. That's the takeaway from my...
