The service here is truly horrible. I've been here several times in the last couple of months and not once have I had an overall positive experience. I usually go through the drive through, which is a nightmare, because most of the employees are so uninterested in their job that they don't even pay attention when you are ordering and mumble into the speaker to make you repeat yourself. It takes forever to get your food. When I decided to go in to see if it was any better, my experience was even worse. The cashier literally made eye contact with me and then proceeded to stare at the ground for a solid two minutes before approaching the counter to take my order. She then could not figure out how to use the computer, and had to go to the back and search around for someone who could help her. Once I finally finished my order, I went to pay, and then was informed that the cash drawer was out of place and she didn't know how to fix it. So I waited longer for her to find someone to fix that. Then, one of the people I was with had ordered coffee, and she didn't know how to make that, so she literally handed us the ingredients for the drink and the lid and straw and had us make it ourselves. Read moreWaiting in line I watched as an employee of door dash walked in and notified them of the order she was picking up. I watched two gentlemen walk in and placed their orders on the kiosk and then another gentleman as well. All three gentlemen got their orders before she even got hers and she stood there for 15 minutes. While watching her I noticed a short female with short dreads or braids walk behind the counter make her some more food and left. She did not help with the customers up front, she waited behind the counter instead of helping until her ride came. Then when her ride showed up she went outside dropped off the food came back inside made more food and took that food out to the car and left. Every time I come into this Taco Bell it takes forever. And I feel sorry for the customers of that doordash employee cuz I know their food is cold it was done well before and it didn't even put it under the hot pin while it took them another 5 minutes just to make an ice coffee. Mind you they have three Cooks and one person running drive-thru and cashier up front. There's no reason why it takes that long for the food to get done or a customer to be attended to. The latter, unfortunately, was not my experience. While driving hundreds of miles to move my daughter to college, I jetted into Taco Bell surely to order Nacho fries and a bean burrito, but not before a potty break that was long over due. After reading the sign, "Restrooms are for paying customers," I kindly stated that I'm going to purchase food but needed to use the restroom first. A stoic and rather crass African American middle-aged woman demanded that pay first. The "Pay to Potty" policy was not only a first for me but had my legal wheels spinning beyond a poor customer service complaint. I decided to pay and was told by the same woman this establishment uses the kiosk only--you can imagine this added more time to my failing bladder. Why did I not leave, you may ask, I know that I have the pen of a ready writer, and I would save my verbal lashing for this review and others.
