Cleo's — Restaurant in Newburgh

Had the delight of a Lunch here at Cleo’s. It is pricey but was totally worth. I had the turkey wrap with spinach tortilla, jalapeño chips, a Coke Zero from the bottle, and a slice of the chocolate bread pudding. The space was clean and service was awesome. Nice place for a lunch date. Parking was a little confusing because it was down on the river but our trip from Evansville included a nice drive along the river afterwards. Bathroom was clean and extra seating was in the back of the building. After ordering it only took 10 minutes to get our lunch. I wish more were on their menu and the prices were easily, without a drink $9.95 or more. For two people, including a slice of bread pudding, it costed a little over $30. This place is wonderful. The Garden Croissant add Turkey was so tasty!! It's enormous, so if you get a cup of soup and chips, two people will be well fed.

The views of the Ohio River are nice if you sit out back, however a tree trim would suit this place quite nicely, as it would open up the view considerably.

The tomato soup was a bit too zesty for me, and a little sugar or some cheese/sour cream in there would have really added to it's taste.

The service was perfect. Very polite and easy going. From our experience today, I can't find a reason to mark this place down at all. 5 star experience!!...

I have the luxury of living right down the street from Cleo's. I have had the chocolate cheesecake, which is probably the best cheesecake I have ever had. The BumbleBerry bread pudding is to die for however the Baked French Toast which comes with butter and syrup is the best dessert over all that I have had ever!!! Cute, quaint shop, and the owner is so kind and must take an enormous amount of pride in her creations.
