Owned by Kendal and Kyree, Mad Martha's is the best breakfast and lunch spot in New England! The staff and service is great and always very friendly. The food is by far the freshest and most refreshing you are able to produce. Kyree the chef and co-owner is a master of flavor profiles and a wizard on the grill. Put your trust in her dishes and your sure to be pleased. It's a great family and communal atmosphere to be enjoyed by all who come. If your headed to Mad Martha's you must try the blueberry granola pancakes and the banana fosters french toast. Your taste buds will thank you indefinitely! Don't be fooled though their scrams and sammies are not to be missed either. This is a must on your breakfast...

Been on the island for 3 + years now and they are they best breakfast place! Newburyport, Salisbury, Amesbury has none that compares! Yes there is a wait at times (especially during summer), but well worth it and if you don't like waiting, get take out..........I have never had a bad experience and the staff is SOOOOOOO FAB, courteous and accommodating ! I have had better meals here than some of the Brunch Special Places in Newburyport......and they are half the cost.......

YUMMMMMMMMM! is all I can say!

Those that say they are costly, I ask what did you order everything? I have gone with another and $21, with 3 $28 and yes that is before the tip......Newburyport 2=$40 and sub-par.......and...

This place is AMAZING! The staff were so friendly and very solicitous without being intrusive. Great chef, sweet and friendly as well. They work really hard here. It was hot and no ac, but it's on the beach. That being said, they were hot but were not complaining but were thanking people, many by name for coming in. They'd just reopened a month ago. Great food, lots of choices, freshly made and perfect for a beach side meal. Let's keep supporting them folks! THEY are what makes our country great. Hard working, friendly and grateful. Thanks Mad Martha...we aren't mad at all...just thrilled that we found you guys! Godspeed and blessings...

The current iteration of Mad Martha's (on the Newbury side of Plum Island) was born in 2011 when Kendall and Kyree bought the prior restaurant, kept some menu items such as Portuguese sweet bread, and they're still with it. Kendall manages the front and Kyree cooks the food. I've patronized the restaurant many times over their history, and service and comfort remain top-notch. During my latest visit on an 80-degree Saturday in July, I ordered "Messy Eggs" (a scramble with sausage and vegetables), and added a side of fruit. Kyree cooked the yummy concoction while Kendall zoomed around the tables with a smile.

Mad Marthas is a longtime favorite brunch spot of mine. The owners are incredibly friendly and the rustic beach atmosphere creates a unique vibe. Their sandwich the lighthouse is the perfect blend of fresh ingredients without being overwhelming, its one of my all time favorite foods. The bolos levidos bread they use is amazing. Combine the delicious food with being 200 feet from the beach and you have a unmatchable place to grab breakfast, lunch or just coffee!
