Dianne's Fine Desserts — Restaurant in Newburyport

Diannes Fine Desserts, 4 Graff St., in Newburyport is the best place for a snack. All other coffee shops/bakeries in the area are obscenely overpriced. Diannes has a quaint seating area with normal coffee prices, realistically priced bakery snacks and sometimes free samples! They also have a huge variety of delicious desserts including unsliced frozen cakes they will happily personalize for free! There's a huge BOGO section and all the Alden Merrill classics are here along with so many other fine desserts. I like walking around the city but love finishing the day at Diannes Fine Desserts. It's right off 113 near 7-11. Just turn onto Low St. for little bit then a right onto Graff St. and it comes up quick on the right. There's usually a sign with the daily special. Check them out and you'll be glad you did. Perfect for party planners and bulk buyers alike. You can't beat their BOGO selection or...

I give the Desserts 4stars but honestly I walked in with a friend of mine and instantly felt out of place. Almost every employee there kept staring at us both as if we had stolen something. I Forgot to mention we are both from Massachusetts, 1 Hispanic man, 1 young black man both wearing work clothes on which is black hoodies, dirty jeans and dirty boots..lol, a woman even came from behind the counter grabbed our Desserts and offered to bring them behind the counter, in the meantime theres about 7 other customers buying just as we was but never offered them assistance. Very disappointed, I purposely purchased $84 in Desserts and left no tip and didn't feel not a bit bad about it....smh...its a sad story because I like the place they have...

Just went there for a strawberry chezcake n they apparently don't do strawberry chez cake anymore n haven't in a long time!? Y would a place that makes chez cake not make the most popular kind of chez cake? That was very disappointing! N they had freezers full of these not popular flavors n combos that were buy one get one free, so that alone says sumthing, like how bout make more flavors ppl like I.e. strawberry, blueberry, razberry, pineapple, black razberry etc... Just a thought... N just the way the girls working there said this to us was as if we were asking for sumthing crazy n unheard of... Guess we will not ever b going...
