New England Coffee Guy (Cafe/Mobile Espresso Cart) — Restaurant in Newington

On Labor Day weekend, 2024, we had the opportunity to celebrate our son & daughter-in-law’s wedding with a beautiful brunch at a gorgeous venue in South Glastonbury, our hometown. Our Coffee Guy, (called New England Coffee Guy) excelled at serving the masses! Shout-out to Jason and Lisa! What a fabulous feature/addition to our party! We not only recommend Hops on the Hill for your private parties, my entire family and 125 guests wholeheartedly recommend The New England Coffee Guy! The lattes, cappuccinos, espressos, in using their own beans, house-created flavors- even no-sugar ones, were tremendous. We loved stopping into The Café by New England Coffee Guy based in WeHa roasting company! The owner Jason and his wife Lisa were so sweet and made delicious drinks! This space has a variety of seating available, Wi-Fi (perfect for a WFH spot) and is a fun place to gather with others. If you’re not a beer fan, love that you can grab a coffee/tea/etc right across the way. They have a variety of drinks including some delicious ones like the pistachio cold foam (pictured w/an iced chai), white chocolate raspberry, lattes (pictured) cortado, drip coffee and more. There is a food menu available and brunch on the weekends. They’ll have some other pastry and menu items soon too! As far as his mobile cart- we love his ability to cater to each person's needs from espresso to cold brew and custom drinks. I wish I could give Jason and his team 10 stars. We hired him for our son’s birthday, I imagined a little cafe - but Jason went above and beyond for not only the guests, but for my family. He made a little drink for the birthday boy and made sure I got my drink as well. He really catered to people’s requests and made me the BEST “dirty matcha” to end the night. I wish I could hire him again and again. He made the party so special. I truly loved every minute. We supplied little stickers that he even spent his own time taping on to the cups.
