Oh, honey! Let me spill the tea on WeHa Brewing & Roasting Company because it's a gem worth shouting from the rooftops, or in this case, typing on my keyboard! šŸŒˆšŸ’ƒ First things first, let's talk about their beers on tap. Sip by sip, WeHa Brewing has stolen my heart with their phenomenal selection, especially their fruity sours. You better believe I've found my happy place right here! Each sip is a vibrant burst of flavor, a fruity symphony that makes my taste buds dance with joy. It's like a pride parade in my mouth, and I'm here for it! But hold onto your wig, because there's more to love about this place. Are you ready for it? drumroll They have coffee hours! Yes, you read that right! You can go from sipping on their fabulous beers to savoring incredible coffee and other mind-blowing beverages. Talk about the best of both worlds! It's like having a queer caffeinated dream come true. And let's not forget about the food—delicious bites that take this place to a whole new level of awesomeness. They've got it all, honey! Now, let's talk about the vibe at WeHa Brewing & Roasting Company. This place is a haven of inclusivity, a sanctuary for the fabulous and the fierce. It's a place where all are welcome, where diversity is celebrated, and where love and acceptance are the main ingredients in every recipe. You won't just find incredible drinks and food here; you'll find a family—a rainbow family that supports and uplifts one another. And let me tell you, the drag shows featuring Summer Orlando and Barbara Joan Streetsand? Absolute showstoppers, darling! These queens bring the house down with their mesmerizing performances, sequins, and sass. It's like attending the grandest ball, where laughter and applause mingle with the clinking of glasses. Trust me, you won't want to miss a single beat of their fabulous shows! But wait, there's more! I almost forgot to mention one more thing that makes WeHa Brewing & Roasting Company even more fabulous! Picture this: you, a cold pint of fruity sour in hand, surrounded by the vibrant energy of the place. And guess what? You can bring your knitting needles and yarn too! Yes, darling, you heard it right. WeHa Brewing & Roasting Company is not just a place to sip and savor; it's also a haven for crafters and creators. I can't tell you how much I adore grabbing a seat, needles in hand, and stitching away while enjoying the fantastic drinks and delightful atmosphere. It's like the perfect blend of relaxation and creativity, all in one quirky and queer package. So, whether you're a knitting enthusiast, a crochet connoisseur, or simply someone who loves to unwind with some yarn therapy, this place has got your back. With every stitch, you'll feel the stress melt away, replaced by a sense of serenity and joy that only a place like WeHa Brewing & Roasting Company can provide. So pack up your knitting bag, gather your queer squad, and head on over to this fabulous establishment. Raise your glasses, click your needles, and let the good times roll! Cheers to the beers, the fruity sours, the coffee, the food, the inclusivity, the drag shows, and the knitting bliss. WeHa Brewing & Roasting Company, you've stolen our hearts, one sip, stitch, and sparkle at a time! šŸ»šŸ§¶šŸ’–

this place is gorgeous and aesthetically pleasing! there are games for you to play, plenty of seating, and all the staff was really nice. we went for brunch. we got a beer flight, which was super good and worth it! the food came out suspiciously quick—as if it was already prepared and just waiting (i seriously think it was under 10 minutes for 4 dishes). but it tasted great and did not taste like it had been sitting which was confusing. nonetheless, we all were very delighted with our food! the portions were quite generous as well (chicken and waffles was on the smaller side, but for the price it was fine). the mimosa may have been 95% orange juice, but it was good orange juice. unfortunately, the coffee bar was a complete miss. it honestly was some of the worst coffee i ever had. considering this place advertises itself as a roasting company that is extremely disappointing and knocked my rating down significantly. we got a strawberry shortcake latte—this could not have tasted more artificial. there was also so much added in, i couldn’t even drink it. the matcha tasted like milk with a hint of matcha. the Spanish latte somehow tasted like watered down coffee. these three drinks were around $18. for that price, i would have expected drinkable coffee.

This review is a part of my quest of visiting all CT breweries. I've been to WeHa Brewery before, and this was my second visit. There's a small parking lot in front of the building and a bigger lot at the back. The brewery occupies its own building. The space is divided into two rooms, allowing isolation for private parties. They had their own kitchen before, but now Mama Nena operates onsite for them. Cocktails are available in the menu. The place was packed during my Saturday visit. But once everyone has left it became pretty chilly, the brewery might require better insulation. They had only 6 of their own beers on tap during my second visit. More beers were available during my first visit, so this night be seasonal. You can order a beer flight of 4 to try as many as you want. Note, that flights are priced fairly high compared to other breweries. For this review I tried all available beers. They were just OK, I found the majority of beers to be thin. The exception would be Ube-liscious (Imperial stout) - I have never seen beers brewed with Ube in other CT breweries. The sours were also fine, as you can feel fresh juice there. Overall, this is a nice hangout spot, especially if you're into events they host.

So we love trying out local breweries. Love New England style IPAs and double IPAs. So we were excited to see a new roastery and brewery. We went around 4 on New Year’s Eve. Don’t know why they don’t have coffee available after 3pm. Evenings are good times to have a hot latte. Anyways so one star out for that. But if I was a new roastery and brewery owner, I would have offered customer to try out whatever coffee was there at that tine. They had some coffee at the back which couple of other customers filled up on but no one offered us to try that. Anyways just a suggestion. Now coming to the brewery part. One of the Double IPA was to our taste. We loved it. Loved they have 4oz flights. That’s a very good idea to try out different brews. We were almost deciding to come back again when suddenly around 5pm, some staff came and told us that ā€œguys we have a private party here from 5:30. You can stay if you want but there’s a $25 fee. If you want to stay come see me at the bar.ā€ And he left a pamphlet. The pamphlet mentioned there is some live music, food and a glass of beer. So was it a private party or a new year eve party!!! We were so confused. We have been to so many shows, couldn’t understand what kind of party it was. New year eve public party (coz you are charging for it and have a pamphlet printed) or a private party!!! Why will we want to be part of a private party!! Also the way he said it seemed like he judged us completely that we won’t pay $25 for an event!! We spent hundreds for gojira, bellwitch, Metallica, muse.. etc and even we have been to so many shows at once ballroom in Boston, middle eastern club in Boston, saint vitus in nyc, Webster theatre jn Hartford so we were very much accustomed to the idea of different t types of events and prices associated. So don’t judge people. Anyways, if I was the owner and I was hosting a new year eve party, and there were hardly two customers sitting, j would have promoted the event, made them feel welcome, would have made them excited about the singer. But anyways it was an unfortunate behavior from a local brewery. One of the staff at the bar was very good, even asked how we liked the beer but the other staff needs to work on the...

Visited for the first time today. The beer was excellent, a lot of variety and varied styles. There was outdoor seating and there was enough room inside to seat several parties.

In addition to their multitude of beers on draft, they do custom flights (they did have three of their choice flights, but it's always a plus when a place lets you choose your own for a flight), and also sold cans to go. A huge plus is that WeHa allows you to mix and match your cans to go, and you can even grab a single can if that's all you want.

I also had a really great customer service experience. When checking out, my order was mistaken for another customer with the same name, so I mistakenly received their bill (and erroneously paid for it). Our server Hannah was amazing and helped set things right, she was very polite and apologetic (even though I should have noticed when the bill was different than I expected). I really appreciated the customer service, mistakes happen but whenever someone handles something like this so professionally and courteously I think that speaks volumes to a business' integrity. Will definitely visit again!

While we didn't have coffee during this visit, it smelled amazing. Also, we saw people at other tables enjoying both coffee and beer -- it's great to have a non-alcoholic option for DD's or just guests that may not want alcohol so everyone can...
