Great China — Restaurant in Newnan

PRICES INCREASED ... NO INCREASE IN THE AMOUNT OF FOOD RECEIVED! We have been loyal patrons of this Chinese restaurant for more than 10 years. They've have gradually increased their prices, decreased the amount of food you receive with the smaller containers and I'm no longer patronizing this place because of it. It's great food but just last year, we paid $19.80 for two dinners. Today, our total was $29. There's no way we should be paying this amount of money for two takeout dinners. They've decreased the sizes of their takeout containers so everyone is paying a lot more for food that they've decreased. GET BACK IN YOUR KITCHENS AND COOK! Youtube has every recipe they serve. I've made several of them and they turned out great. I refuse to pay more for less and there's no end to them increasing the prices. Very sad to go but I can no longer afford the constantly...

We made a to go order and picked it up. The food was ready when we got there twenty minutes later which was on point. This restaurant from what I observed is primarily set up for to go orders as they only had one to two tables in the place. The food was okay I had the General Tso's chicken and wife had shrimp fried rice. We also ordered the bean curd soup for two. The ingredients were fresh but the flavor fell short for me. Not enough salt in the soup broth and the General Tso's was strangely overcooked. The meat was very stringy and chewy but not burned on the outside so I'm assuming it spent too much time in the deep fryer. This dish also lacked enough sauce. The shrimp fried rice could have used a little more soy sauce as well. I have definitely had better at other places. The folks cooking were working hard in the kitchen but I don't think they taste their food prior...

Do NOT order from them, I called in a order of shrimp and broccoli to only receive a pint size container of 3 shrimp and little broccoli and NO rice!! For $7.00 when I called and spoke to the owner he was very nasty on the phone and told me to just come back and get the rice, I advised him the food was picked up for me, and I it would be an inconvience for someone to drive all the way back there for some plain white rice...he said well you get nothing and hung up on me!! I will never order from here again..all they care about is making money and has the worst...
