Balboa, what a quaint beach area. Home to many famous people such as: John Wayne, Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, Shirley Temple, Errol Flynn, Nicolas Cage, George Burns, Gracie Allen, Roy Rogers, Peter Falk, Vanna White, and Charles Bronson. As we meandered on Balboa island we came upon this little bakery and the aroma drew us inside. The aromatic smell of the baked goods was favorably overwhelming. as we perused the glass case with all the delectable delights our eyes focused on the cinnamon rolls. we purchased 2. we were then asked if we wanted icing on top, of course. A generous amount was applied to the tops of both.
