Roll It Sushi & Teriyaki — Restaurant in Newport Beach

My employer could not have made a better choice what restaurant to have catered on 12/11/2020! First time we had any sushi/Japanese lunch catered. D-lish! 😋 The spices in the mashed potatoes were the best I've ever tasted. The salad, rice, and teriyaki chicken & pork were great. Top it all off with fresh edamame still in the pods and it all makes for one of the most affordable, yet great-tasting Bento boxes available in Orange County.

My coworkers were all assuming it was the most expensive lunch we've ever had catered. According to other reviewers, it can't be. I will believe the other reviewers who've been here before 12/11/2020.

This teriyaki and sushi place was alright. I had a bento box and a sushi roll. The bento box was your standard greens with sesame Ginger salad dressing and it was really good. The flavor was great and the salad had big chunks of carrot and good fresh leaf lettuce. The tempura was as you expect it to be, it's hard to screw up fried shrimp. The spicy tuna roll that came with the bento box was good, good flavor, cold and well put together. The teriyaki chicken was just okay. I don't know if this restaurant pan fries or flat top grills chicken or if they were just in a hurry because it was a busy lunch but there was none of the Char-Broil that I expect when I order teriyaki chicken. Very disappointed today Friday came to eat here at 4:15 pm and order my dinner with my friend, as I mentioned to him I really like this place well that definitely change!!!! Bad bad customer service their cashier with red hair was very rude to the clients seating saying that she has to mop they close at 5 pm and started mopping with really strong floor fabuloso solution I had to stop eating horrible got bad headache. She basically was kicking us out of the restaurant and the food was even cold.
