Starbucks — Restaurant in Newport Beach

Stepping into Starbucks recently was like entering a realm of caffeinated wonder. I ordered their new $5 combo: a tall coffee and a croissant, and boy, it was a “brew-tiful” experience! The barista (DANIEL) greeted me with a smile that could rival the brightness of a freshly brewed morning, making me feel like the "flan-tastic" center of the universe. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ The coffee was so good it practically “espresso-ed” its love for me with every sip, and the croissant was flaky enough to make any “dough-lectable” dream come true. I understand Starbucks usually doesn't offer decaf about mid day, however I will usually get some type of alternative offer, pour over, decaf Americano etc. Nothing from the person taking our order. The person who ordered before us didn't get what they ordered and was given a substitute. When asked about the order they were told "that's all we have". A little customer service reminder, don't take an order for something you don't have, and take some sort of interest in your customer orders. I skipped ordering here...

I have visited this location 15+ times. The service was as expected and drinks were pretty good each time. The 4 stars were for the lack of feeling anything special from the location. I guess spending money on overpriced, pretty good coffee, and expecting to be a valued customer is a thing in the past. To be fair I stopped thinking Starbucks was the best years ago. I prefer Peet's, better quality and service. As a avid coffee drinker, probably addicted, I spend over 300...
