The customer service at Fashion Island Newport Beach is never matched with the quality of your foods. I went to this location on Saturday May/31 at 7:30 pm to pick up an order. The young lady on her nose who was there standing behind the station filled up the sauces in the container she look at me when I walked in but she did not greeting or asked me if I need help. She was just ignored and turn her face away and continued fill up the sauces till she finished then she walked back to her food prep station and still keep ignoring me which is I was very surprise the way she treated customer. So I decided to said Hi to her but she was still ignored me then I said Hi again till she finally look at me then I said to her I come for pick up the online order. She was still did not said a word to me and just walk to the order and hand to me with no words or even “Thank You” Her attitude was not acceptable, very rude and very mean. I won’t bother to go back again even you have the best food in the world but if your employee has so much hate to your customer and her job. NOTE : Filling up the togo sauces is a side work that restaurant employee should not do at the busy dinner time on Friday, Saturday between 6pm to 8pm which is serving customers should be more important during...
Read moreSweetgreen in Newport Beach is like stepping into a salad shop designed by the Jetsons but stocked by Alice Waters. The sleek automation system is almost hypnotic to watch—bowls zipping along on a track, laser-focused precision behind glass—but the magic is that the ingredients still feel lovingly handpicked. It’s a wild and wonderful contrast: cutting-edge tech delivering hyper-fresh, locally sourced produce.
You get your lunch with the speed of a futuristic vending machine, but it tastes like it came from a coastal farm stand. They’re working with local growers, staying seasonal, and keeping everything vibrant—crunchy kale, warm wild rice, perfectly roasted sweet potatoes, and dressings that actually taste like they were made that morning.
It’s a beautiful collision of old-school values and new-world convenience. Service is fast but friendly, the space is clean and inviting, and the overall experience leaves you oddly optimistic about what fast food could become. Sweetgreen in Newport Beach isn’t just feeding people, it’s quietly upgrading the whole idea of lunch. Five...
Read moreSweetgreen is my go-to when I want a quick, light, clean, and healthy lunch, especially on days when I have a heavier dinner planned. Their ingredients are local (some), organic (most part), and fresh, and the ability to customize your meal and get it within minutes is a huge plus.
I usually get the Caesar salad and mix it with their phenomenal pesto dressing, which is only 80 calories but still packed with flavor. I also add tomatoes and cabbage for extra color and crunch. Their chicken breast is great, but I feel like the protein portions are on the smaller side, so I always order double chicken to make it more filling. I’ve also tried their salmon multiple times, and while it’s mediocre in California, it’s actually much better in Seattle for some reason.
Vibe - modern, casual and clean!
One small perk I enjoy is getting the bread on the side—my kids love it, and it’s a nice little extra. The food here is super healthy, and while it’s not a place I get excited about, it’s a solid choice for a quick and nutritious meal without having to meal...
