Ok hear me out this place is so GOOD, it was my FIRST TIME trying it out , definitely coming back !!! ok the reviews had me scared however, I actually see people going into this place DAILY . I tried for myself and got a chicken sandwich combo and tenders with fries(21$) The guy in front was very nice and polite and the wife was the cook. From the menu I wasn't expecting much and with them being across from the shipyard don't expect huge portions - their clientele are working 10 hours shifts with 30min lunches lol 🤣 . Decent food for a decent price. Standard short order grill fare rules the roost here. This place caters primarily to shipyard, Navy, and city government that work in downtown Newport News. They open really early and they have great breakfast specials. The lunch menu has a wide variety of items to choose from. Let me just say if you are planning to order from here just save yourself the time and effort snd money and don't do it. My patients mom said she enjoyed the breakfast, so we decided to grab lunch BAD IDEA. First of all they have a large platter listed ok their door dash for 13.99 for 3 pieces of fish, shrimp and French fries. We decided to just stop by and grab it.
