Bambino's is a nice little (emphasis on little) shop. It's clean, simple, and reasonably priced. For a quick bite of pizza, I would recommend friends to Bambino's over Brothers. So why not five stars? Because unlike what other reviews have said, the pizza will not blow you away. From my experience, it was just a classic slice of your average pizza. Not much grease, but not much flavor either.
As mentioned, Bambino's pizza is still better than Brothers, but I wouldn't put it past JoJo's in Millerstown, and it is certainly nowhere as good as Fox's in Mifflintown. However, as I have not- as of yet, tried anything else on the Bambino's menu, I still enjoy subs from Brothers.
All this being said, I will most likely come again, now knowing what to expect. The price of a slice of pizza here, is still worth it to me. Even if it's not as good as it's said to be. (I would recommend bringing your own bottle of soda though, as there is no fountain sodas, and the bottled options they sell are, understandably, a little more than you will pay at a vending machine.)

Read moreQuite some time ago, I ordered food for pick-up. When I arrived, my card was declined (my paycheck went in to my account a day later than normal). I told them I was sorry, and would have to go to the bank (so I could withdraw money from a different account). The gentleman said, "No problem! Take your lunch and eat, and bring the money back later, so it doesn't get cold". This was the first or second time I had ever been there, so it wasn't like I was a regular at this point. It was very touching he did this for me. I went home and ate lunch with my son, and then returned straight away with the cash. I shared because I feel as though others should know the kind of business/people the owners are! (Plus the food is always amazing!) I now go there whenever I'm wanting...
Read moreWe've tried Bamino's twice now. Neither time were we overly impressed; however. Their pizza is ok, but our kids even say it's not their favorite. Their cheeseburger subs look like they're made of tofu. Not saying they are, but the meat looked suspicious and it tasted.. different. Their chicken cheesteak subs were pretty good, but they were dry and we were not given sauce for them. They're good if you have sauce at home to add. They use mozzarella cheese for their cheese fries, which isn't a good cheese to use because it just peels off the fries. They don't offer wraps. Their wings are huge though! Okay, but not our...
