Long John Silver's | A&W — Restaurant in Newport

Went to the A&W/LJS went 1 week ago and stopped on our way to Gburg Ordered a chicken slider combo and a kids cheeseburger meal. After ordering it took 25 minutes to get our food. We should've just told them to refund our money but we was in a lil bit of time crunch so we didn't wanna waste time stopping elsewhere. But we would've if we had known it would take so long. But anyways stopped Monday Dec 27 on our way to Dollywood and seeing how we don't have A&W or a LJS where we live we thought we'd give it another try. ( Big mistake) so we went through the drive thru and ordered our food. Thy were 8 of us and we ordered 8 combos which I knew it might take some time the girl on the speaker told us that the chicken tenders are "dropped" as it's ordered and told us it would be 7-8 minutes which was fine. She gave us our drinks and asked us to pull forward while we waited on our food after about 10 minutes of waiting she brought out 2 bags of food. Which I immediately knew all our food didn't fit into 2 bags. So we started checking our bags and we're missing about half our order. Not to mention the chicken tenders we were waiting on to begin with. We did go back in and she knew immediately that our order was wrong cause she asked what we were missing. ( Must be a regular problem) anyways we told her and she took our ticket back to the back and then another girl possibly a manager came back up and asked what all we was missing and we explained it. So then after waiting another 15 minutes or so they finally did get our order complete. I will say I Like not A& W and LJS but I will never go back to the one...

Absolutely terrible. The fish & chicken were like rubber. The only thing warm was the cole slaw. The only thing actually supposed to be cold. I had to eat the warm cole slaw with my fingers because no one had the common sense to throw in a fork or a napkin. I guess they knew I'd be throwing it out after the first bite. No receipt - I can't even prove that I paid over 10 bucks for this garbage. They wouldn't even answer the phone. They probably never answer it because it's only yet another complaint. These people obviously just stopped caring about good food or good service. Avoid this place at all cost. Run away fast. Did not receive a greeting of any kind even though there were no customers in line nor any waiting for food. Ordered a kids cheese burger from a cashier that did not know the menu and acted like she wanted to be anywhere other than working that day but after 20 minutes wait I asked for my money back and left without any food or any type of apology from the manager or cashier. Very disappointed in the treatment of those rude employees but the way they treated me explained why they had no customers in what used to be a 5 star establishment & turned it into maybe 1 star place if rude is what you enjoy that is.
