Ok.. so I took a while in posting this so I could take a more objective stance. First off, this place is, Way over rated! Menu looks phenominal online, as a Chef, in my mind I said challenge accepted lets see what they got for culinary delicacies. Initial bad first impression, got there five minutes before posted openening for the evening, noticed a sign saying they could open a Few minutes late. saw the proprietor take notice of us and scurry into the back. Standing in front with my kids waiting to be let in, approximately 20 mins after opening she came back out to the front to let us in. (I should also mention my son is Crab Crazy and wanted only 1 menu item.) Dungeness crab entree, I got the fresh fish entree (snapper) and mac and cheese for my youngest. This totaled out in the end to 96 with tip, a shirley temple and coffee for myself. 8 mentioned before she went back to lay the order on the cook that I was a chef and would review. I considered that fair warning. So after a few mins of being inside a nice group of 4 seniors came in and another set of 2 a few mins later. That's when myself and 2 kids started being ignored almost entirely. When the food came out another 25-30 mins later I was a little shocked by what was on the plate, not knowing the price I let it slide and thought there is crab and snapper what could go wrong. Though I was pretty annoyed when she said it was yummy special mac and cheese, like I'm dumb enough to believe it wasn't a kraft knock off! I did taste it, tasted like "family value" or one of those off brands. On to the fish and crab, the fish was tasty, hence the 2 stars above, the crab was overcooked or canned(I couldn't decide on that)and a pretty small portion of crab meat for the price paid, my 6 y/o was happy with the crab, I knew the difference. However apart from that, they sloppily fill the rest of the plate hilley nilley with large chopped iceberg, chopped only slightly more than a wedge salad, with fruit and other veggies placed on top. Though the salad that came with the fish was also poorly chopped iceberg ,and very large carrot shreds. To be charging the amount they are charging, their dishes should have flow and direction to guide your tastebuds on a journey. This left me feeling disappointed at best, and pretty frustrated when I saw the bill at the end. Money would have been better spent at pig n pancake or sambos over 3 days then the singular culinary flop that padded their retirement scam. I would definitely avoid this place if you have kids, or tastebuds....
So in reply to the "cook" at sharks.. any school trained chef will tell you that "canned" is not fresh. You sir are an idiot. Picture 1 is your so called crab dinner.
Also.. yes I gave 4 stars to McDonald's because they stayed in their lane and did thier job at that particular restaurant, when someone does a good job I tend to say something as well. Had you done yours, you would have more stars.
Also pardon me for mistaking the rockfish for snapper.. it was a month before I posted.. that was the only thing that was good, so I don't know why you care if I switched the fish name. Anyway learn to source your ingredients properly, learn to cook. And for gods sake if you are going to charge 6 bucks for mac and cheese... at least make it from scrath, it will be cheaper, and taste better than some box made garbage.
Also, the price of the meal wasn't the issue, it was quality for price.. when you charge 90$ for 2 adult meals and a kids meal, you better have damn good food or be prepared to be blasted. Also.. in reviewing your reviews, your wife/server has a history of ignoring people.. or at least your...

Read moreThis was the WORST place I have ever eaten. Terribly rude staff, awful food, dirty establishment. I feel like Anyone who ate there and left a positive review was living in the twilight zone OR possibly drugged since they seem to think the food they had was not only edible, but appetizing. First of all, the staff don't appear to wash their hands, which by itself is terribly disgusting. Secondly, the food was the most repulsive thing that I have ever been served at a restaurant. Oddly steamed vegetables that were completely bland atop a bed of wilted romaine lettuce with a small pile of crab meat that tasted as if it had been dumped out of a can directly onto my plate. The service was also terrible, there was only one other table in a very small establishment and she didn't ask us if we would like drinks until after she had brought our poor excuse for a meal to us. She didn't ask us if we enjoyed our food, she didn't check to see if we needed anything. To add insult to injury, when I politely explained that not one person at our table had enjoyed their food, the "cook" cussed me out and the "waitress" grabbed my phone out of my hands to stop me from filming it. As we were leaving the "cook" actually got in my then boyfriends face in an attempt to instigate a fight, while my two year old was a witness to the entire awful experience. Disgusting food, and horrible people, I'm shocked they're still in business. I wish I could rate them a -0.
Also, if you check their FB page, you can see their horrible responses to the reviews that myself and my friend left.
Hands down, my worst experience at a...
