We love this little family owned (same family since 1961) golf course and coffee shop. Itâs never too busy; weâve always been able to play with little wait and no tee time. Itâs not terribly long and only 9 holes, but it definitely offers some challenges without providing too much frustration. The true gem we discovered on our last visit though was their coffee shop. Our waitress was one of the family members and suggested the burger, which patrons have told her is the best in town. After having it, Iâm in agreement. I added 4 thick slices of bacon to it, which our waitress also recommended, calling them Steakon. 3 of us had a very filling lunch for $59 plus tip. Weâll be back for golf and food. Number nine presents a tough finish , hilly , manageable if you walk ahead a bit to survey visually , your next shot and what club to use. We were new and if you are too, follow that advice. Old heads already know the tough holes , 6 and 9 , direction to go and club choice. 1,2,4 and 5, basically straight play. Par threes are numbers 3 and 8. It was awesome 10/10. 3rd generation owner is running the kitchen and just CRUSHING it. The âbowlsâ change weekly but they are delish. Not just super tasty but a nicely balanced meal with fresh veggies to match the quality meat and carbs. It shows that sheâs got a college degree in food (sheâs a registered dietician).
