I have been a customer of Newport westsidepizza for approximately 10 years I order approximately four pizzas a month I had a bad experience the last time they delivered no ticket on the chicken Caesar salad the pizza was cold it was terrible so they left me 13 box points so today I tried to use my box points and they said they couldn't deliver with using box points so they made me order $20 worth of food to deliver with the Box points I will no longer use westsidepizza I will first of all you up to your delivery rates incredibly so it's hard to tip a driver when you charge $5 for delivery I will from now on go to Panhandle Pizza in Priest River I will have nothing good to say about West Side as you didn't work with me on getting my pizza delivered without an extra cost of $19 and some odd sense ridiculous well I was glad to see the manager of west side at my door after reading my complaint he was very apologetic about the situations I had with them he left a gift certificate for me to use if I would give them another chance truly what mattered to me was not the gift very but he responded to my post that meant alot as he wanted to solve the issue and he did . I will be trying west side again I think everyone learns from there mistakes thanks to him for communicating with his customers to fix the problem.this first issue is old but today December 31 2019 I tried to order large special and was told I did not meet minimum delivery amount was 2 dollars short have done same order plenty of times before and was never told this I have gave westside plenty of chances and spent tons of money there and now you lost me as a customer for good I will be letting all of newport now to go to vici Ray's in priestriver as way cheaper than westside with better quality pizza and no minimum for delivery on there med or large pizzas westside needs to learn better customer service like we will deliver it 2 dollars short this time but next time it must be at our...
Read moreNot impressed. Waited an hour- IN STORE for our several pizza takeout order to be completed, when they told us it would be a half hour. Walked up to counter to ask about the status of our order and they panicked because somebody forgot to put the slip up for them to even start the order. He never printed out the ticket. Probably because he was up at the counter listening to something in his headphones rather than trying to get the order correct, or printed off. They did offer to refund our money after not getting our order in. Fast forward a couple of days later, my grandparents in their late 70s wanted to order pizza. My grandma called in, and not two minutes later she had me call in to try and change one of the three pizzas. The gal at the store said they already had it in the oven- hard to believe after two minutes, but you never know. My grandfather went to pick up his pizzas, and he asked to speak to a manager- I didn't know he was doing so. One gal apologized and said she is the manager for the day and that they would make the beef pepper pizza instead of the pepperoni that was requested earlier. He came to our home and dropped off 2 of the three pizzas and said that they apologized and they would have the third pizza done if he wanted to come back in 15minutes. He picked it up and brought it home, only to find out it was the pepperoni pizza that was mistakenly ordered in the first place. I don't care about them being unable to change an order 2 minutes after the call was originally placed- I get that, of they are competent, speedy pizza makers. I am however upset that they sent him home with a pep pizza after they stated that they would fix that for him. It is sad he toOK two extra trips for nothing. I think the pizza here is alright- but with the pricing, it's not worth having to deal with the mess ups and complete disregard for...
Read moreI so want to like this place....I'm all about our small town businesses but these guys make it hard. We've tried them a bunch of times and the pizza is ok, our main complaint was that they consistently overcharged us (charging regular price when it was supposed to be their monthly special price). We have a family member with a gluten allergy and we were excited when Westside started offering gluten free (not many gf choices here in Newport). We decided to give them another chance and called in an order to give a try. We confirmed 3 times during the order that it needed to be on their gluten free crust. Needless to say, our pizza was not gluten free. Luckily it's pretty easy to tell the difference and I returned the pizza immediately for a refund. The manager issued a refund to my card after arguing with me about our order. Just checked my bank and guess what? They only refunded part of the order. Now, I get to go back up there AGAIN with receipts and bank statements. Definitely will be driving to Priest River for Panhandle Pizza...
