Gioninos Pizzeria — Restaurant in Newton Falls

I ordered a large plain cheese pizza for pickup, told it would be $18 and some cents. Told it would be ready in 25-30 minutes. My husband went to pick it up and was told there was no order for a plain cheese pizza but there was one for a large pepperoni. My husband called me and I called them. They tried to sell me the pepperoni pizza that had a totally different name . I told them No, I ordered a large plain cheese and that is what I wanted. But I also told them I wanted a discount for the inconvenience. They were willing to take $2.00 off the pepperoni pizza, which wasn't mine and I didn't want, but they refused to discount the pizza I originally ordered. The manager said he couldn't discount it because it was a whole new pizza, and they didn't do anything wrong. I have been patronizing this place since they opened here in Newton Falls, but there are a lot more pizza places here in town that I will be ordering from in the future. I called because I didn’t find a menu on the google page (here) & the woman ( I didn’t catch her name ) was very helpful as I asked some what confusing questions to the first phone operator and he politely put her on the phone . After finding their web page and seeing the menu I called back to place an order . The guy answered again and was very nice and completed my order . Told me it would take 45mins to an hour , it actually came faster . Driver was very nice as well ! I ordered the lasagna, it’s very good , but I had to add some spice to balance the sweetness to me . I also ordered my baby some chicken and jojos. They came correctly , although it’s a little hard for him to bite into . I’ll just remember to ask not so hard for frying next time . Smells like pot all the time. I order once a week and ask for my pizza everytime to be cut in squares! I pick it up and come home and triangles not squares. Sometimes they give me an extra small pizza to make up for not cutting in squares! But why repeat 3x that I’m asking to cut in squares to not do what I am asking! I get tired of walking the place and being overcome by the smell of marijuana. And then of course order is never as I ask. I love the pizza but I ask what I want and that is what I expect since I am paying for it and giving a tip to the people providing it. When I ask when I pick said order if it’s cut in squares and answered by a yes I expect it cut in squares yet every damn time I get home it’s in triangles not squares!
