We were looking for a place for breakfast in newtown and came across Ralph’s sandy hook cafe. One of the best French toast I’ve ever had. Everything was soooo good. The owner himself came to take the order and recommended what we should get. He was very considerate of everything and asked us questions like what we can eat and what we can’t eat. Overall the food came out sooo good. I tried his recommendation. Will def come back here. My bf said this was a first time he saw my finish most of my food. I finished my whole plate. Ralph is a very passionate food guy who cooks literally every dish himself. You’ll find hearty portions and highly seasoned food that is good with flavor that is robust and memorable. A family affair mom is there too working the floor taking orders. Coffee is huge and good and the cinnamon rolls are memorable.
