I’m from Carlisle (near Plainfield though.) My kiddos and I ordered fries and a cheese pizza to go while we waited for the newville parade. First and most importantly, the pizza was the best I’ve had since living in Pennsylvania. I’m from Vermont and none of the pizza shops in the area has hit the spot. I know it was “just” a cheese pizza, but it was so good! The fries were pretty good as well! The young woman at the counter was very kind. The gentleman working the fryer, I assume is the owner or manager, was very, very nice! The price was actually very good. We paid under $20. I think the large fry was only $4 and the pizza was $12-14? I can’t remember exact pricing but it was under $20! My only complaints are: 1. I wish there were trash cans available to throw stuff away out in the seating area. 2. Signage to the restroom. Otherwise, I’m happy with my visit and we will be returning to try...
Read moreI'm not going back to place for several reasons. They don't listen or answer questions. To start, they didn't take my number down correctly after repeating it several times. So when when I got there to pick up my food, it wasn't done because they were out of the gluten-free bread. They said they couldn't call me cause I gave them the wrong number. So asked to make a salad. Told has to be gluten-free. Well, they didn't take precautions for gluten-free. Because the person who took my order never told the cook it was to be gluten-free. I had to even after stating it had to be gluten-free. Well, they didn't care to take precaution again because I found a crouton in my salad. Gluten-free is not a choice. I get severally ill. Read moreWell, I was not going to say anything, but since you responded in the manner you did here goes. The food was great. The atmosphere was ridiculous. Whoever the woman was operating the kitchen needs to understand that complaining about cleaning the grill or the fryers, which should be done nightly, or how she was done cooking items, or the fact that she was going to be there until 10 created an atmosphere that made our family leave and eat the rest of our food at home. It was obvious that there were disagreements with the people working in the back and her. I say this with over 15+ years in the restaurant and understand the toll it takes on a person..but what my family experienced was ridiculous and unprofessional. If this is the atmosphere of the new owners then we may never eat...
