Can't make this up. When we arrived the open sign was off but there was one customer we could see so we went inside. When we walked to the counter there were 4 employees standing around doing nothing. We looked up for the menu on the TV screens and they were dark. My wife picked up a piece of paper on the counter that said Marco's on it and a woman from the back yelled that's not a menu. When she came to the counter we said your open sign is off and the screen that usually shows your menu is off. She said "they changed all the prices so the menu on the screens is off." We said do you have a menu we can look at. She handed us a small tri-fold with no prices. We ordered a pizza and sat down to wait. While we were waiting I took 3 pictures of the restaurant. I have a picture of the dining room, the counter and the back area.
When our pizza was ready some guy that looked like he is in his 20s came out with our pizza and was shaking. He said "why are you taking pictures of my employees." Puzzled I replied I didn't take any pictures of your employees." I said I have a friend in another country that is opening a pizza restaurant and I send them pictures of every pizza restaurant I go into. He became more upset and said I was on private property taking pictures of his employees. Again I said I was not taking pictures of his employees (which is 100% true). He then said you have to leave, you can't eat here. My wife said "what is the problem here?" I said there are no signs saying pictures are not allowed. He said you need to get out. We got up to leave and he followed us out into the parking lot demanding to see my car so he could take a picture of our tag. The guy was foaming at the mouth and a little too close. Even at age 68 I wasn't afraid of him but he might scare some people. At this point we were afraid to eat our pizza. Who knows what's going on in there or what people...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars, I would. I have never been treated so poorly by an establishment. To start, yes, it was Halloween, yes they were busy. I was quoted a time of 525. I got there at 530 and she had me pay and then told me “your order isn’t ready yet.” I said, “Ok, what’s the wait time?” She told me, “5 minutes, it’s in the oven.” After about 10 min. I asked again..again, I was told my pizzas were in the oven. I asked to talk to a manager and that was the absolute worst part of it. A short, black male with 1 ear bud in walks over and says, “what?- come up here to my face and talk to me.” I did and was taken back. I asked how much longer since my pizza was in the oven. He then asked me, “you want your pizza or not? It’s that simple.” And him replying with, “that’s what I thought.” He was rude and argumentative. Complete trash. I asked him for his name and he said, “why, why? I ain’t giving you my name.” Any reasonable establishment would not talk to customers the way they did. Every 5 min I was told 5 min. I was told for 30 min my pizza was in the oven. Waiting an hour past your quoted time is a joke. They could have taken full responsibility for it and owned up to it and it would have been different. I also witnessed several other people ask for refunds and they were told, “we don’t have time to do that.” It was an AWFUL experience. If the employees would have given me the managers/owners contact info I would have taken this up...
Read moreWhen the business first opened the food was really good. I started to order the thin crust to be delivered about once a week. For the last 6 months my pizza is consistently delivered cold. I called to speak to the Manger on three different occasions. I was told by that manager that the reason for my pizza being cold was the thin crust. He offered little to no apologies for this, and then offered ten percent off my bill. This was somewhat insulting to me since the point in ordering delivery is to have a hot ready made meal. I started to order the thick crust as recommended by the unhelpful manger. These pizzas too, are delivered cold. I gave up on complaints since they fall on deaf ears. I just wonder how this is even possible. I live 5 minutes from the store. I can get a hot sandwich from publix to my house and it still nearly burns my mouth, and I don't have an insulated bag. This is ridiculous and the Manger is unprofessional. ONLY eat in if you want a chance at a hot meal. This business needs help. I'm really disappointed since there is potential for the food to be hot...
