So the service was absolutely amazing. I guess the owner paid attention to the commentary. I got the falafel platter. It was very fresh and it was so much you won’t get better especially for the price. It’s enough to feed 2 to 3 people. I also got the hummus, but I was not impressed with it.

The rice was pretty simple. It was nice. I would say eight out of 10.

The falafel’s were good and fresh, but weren’t particularly seasoned. I would say 8.7 out of 10.

The salad was salad, not oil or seasoning on it so 9/10

I don’t know what the yellow stuff was some type of pepper. I guess it was surprisingly good. I would say 9/10.

The lentil soup was plain lots of lentil soups. Usually are it was fresh though I would say 9/10.

The hummus was not good. It wasn’t awful but it definitely was not good. I would say 7/10.

The pita bread was OK, but I like it when it’s nice and fluffy. It was pretty skinny. I would say 8.7/10.

If they actually improve the hummus, I would try to come here at least once a week. I have had a lot of different hummus but this is the second time I have tasted chalky hummus. It was creamy, but the flavor was just not there. It looked so pretty though. Unfortunately, I will have to go to Potbelly’s for their hummus, which is some of the best I’ve ever had.

So, all in all go here just don’t get...

The employee is really rude and does not have a good heart. This man came in while i was waiting for my food to buy food and she told him she has absolutely no food left when he was desperate for food. This man was willing to buy anything. ANYTHING. and she turned him down Then, she proceeded to give me falafel “on the house”. Therefore, she HAD food but chose not to give this poor old man food. He was willing and kept asking to buy anything. It was so heart breaking I started to cry. Also, after asking 3 times if they had food, and they kept saying no, he still proceeded to pull out his wallet and tip 10 dollars to the employee. This was so heartbreaking to see. It’s a shame to see how people in this world treat others. Especially when we are all Assyrian. We need to have love in our hearts and treat others how we would want our loved ones treated. very very very rude and sad honestly. This was a...

I recently ate at Alan’s Falafel, and it was a great experience. The food was really good, and I enjoyed every bite. The flavors were amazing, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The workers at Alan’s Falafel were very nice and friendly. From the moment I walked in, they greeted me with smiles and made me feel welcome. Their positive attitude and helpfulness made the visit even better.I highly recommend Alan’s Falafel to anyone looking for a delicious meal and excellent service. The combination of tasty food and friendly staff creates a wonderful dining experience. I will definitely be...

I’m so glad I finally got to try this place! The food was absolutely delicious—everything was freshly made and packed with flavor. Portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable! I ordered the combo plate, Kefta kabob plate, beef shawarma sandwich, and fatoush salad—and every dish hit the mark. On top of that, the service was incredible. The staff was super friendly and attentive. One of the young gentlemen even offered some falafel on the house to make up for a short wait, which was such a kind and thoughtful gesture. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

This has been the worse restaurant here in Chicago. Not only they got my whole order wrong…. Their food is not fresh and it tasted like it has been there for days. We asked if they could change our order to what we wanted, they refused to do so. I called them to talk to the manger about getting my order wrong they said that their was no manger and when we asked if we could talk to any one there they said they are busy. not recommend at all. Jarsa kabob and pita inn are much better at least their food is fresh and have better customer service.
