We came right when they opened at 11am and were confused if they really were open because when we walked in it was completely empty. There wasn't even anyone behind the counter, but I saw a bell on the counter, rang it, and someone came to seat us. He apologized for the delay and said they were just getting started, like there was a van parked in front and they were delivering in crates. There was also a man who came in who must have made his order online who also had to wait. Meanwhile, the restaurant has so many tables and chairs and even has an extra private room off to the side, so it must get busy...just not right when they open on a Saturday morning. All this made me think that this restaurant is busier around dinner time. Nevertheless, when the food came it was beautifully presented and tasted good. I was happy with the vegetarian selections. For the drinks, we wanted to be adventurous and try something we had never heard of before called dough laban. There were other exotic drinks we also wanted to try that I had to Google just to know what they were and looked like, but were told they weren't available yet, which again, makes me think this place is more lively in the evenings. Anyway, dough laban is a yogurt drink and we chose mint flavored expecting it to taste like melted mint ice cream. Instead, it was SO SOUR! Like I checked the date to make sure it wasn't expired, which it wasn't. I ended up ordering a glass of soda and a glass of water to drink instead, and was surprised to see only after I had paid that I wasn't charged for the soda. Maybe because the waiter was being nice and felt bad we were surprised by the sour drink and didn't like it? I still took the 2 bottles home since I did pay for them. I'm hoping to find a recipe online that I can cook them into to cut the sourness, maybe a sugary dessert or something. That same waiter, who seemed to be the only one working that early, was also good about checking in on us even though he was already helping bring crates in, working the phone, and getting our orders and whatever other little things we asked for. I appreciate the hustle. The restaurant itself is clean and nicely decorated. There's a mural on the back wall that looks like Santorini, Greece, the hanging lights and interior windows have intricate designs, and the bathroom doors even have cute Middle Eastern looking cartoon characters. Overall, it was a nice experience, but maybe come at 11:30 or noon instead even if they say they open at 11 or better yet, come for dinner which is when I think they're actually truly up and running.

This is an amazing Mediterranean restaurant, bakery, and hookah lounge. I've been here twice on the week days and had 3 amazing meals. I had the chicken kabab entre (17$) and lunch chicken kabob (13$). The chicken is freshly grilled, juicy, and spiced well. The yellow rice and garlic sauce for dipping the sliced pita bread is good. The salad it comes with has a good sauce and fresh tomatoes. Also the chicken swarma sandwich (10$) is really good. It's wrapped in pita bread and has fries in it. They offer bottled water and glasses of clean water. My friend got the lemon mint smoothie and it was quite good and refreshing. The regular hookah costs 25$ and 8$ head change refill. They have disposable houses. There's a restaurant side. A small bakery. And the hookah lounge part which is connected to the restaurant by 2 glass doors that keep the hookah smoke out of the restaurant area. There are 8 couches with tables you can eat from and 22 2 person tables that allow for large groups. There is ample ventilation and lighting. There are 3 overhead fans that move the air. And windows that open along the whole wall of couches. Great atmosphere and decent music that you can talk over or just listen to your own music on headphones. Great service and attentive on fresh coals when needed. The mint hookah hits well. Disposable hoses for those that want them at no extra charge. Very clean hookah area despite having a breeze from open windows. It's busiest on weekends and can expect. 21+ for hookah. They check. Hookah is 12pm to 10pm Sunday to Thursday and they stay open till 11pm on Friday and Saturday.

We ordered online thinking this place would be a great place to try. The online confirmation said it would take 30 mins for the food to be ready. Went inside and waited for our order for over an hour. They finally said that they never received the order, yet my card had been charged. They then say it would take another 20 mins. We finally get our food and it was missing items. So we waited approximately 15 more mins… Also. the rice and the kofta tasted horribly! Furthermore, the pita bread was cold, old, stale, and appeared to be store bought…. We went back to get our money back and were told they couldn’t do it. Ended up talking to a manager or owner named Mike, who told me he was out of the country and would be back later and the only thing he could do was give me a gift card for the amount purchased. I told him I did not want to go eat there again and he said that’s the only he could do. Was completely adamant about not giving me a refund. I told him I had a bad experience and that I was going to write a bad review, then he said “go ahead, I’m used to it”…. Bad service, bad food, and awful response. If I could give this place a 0 I would. Waste of $60 dollars and 2 hours.

If I can give this zero stars, I would first off let me explain the situation in detail exactly what happened. My husband loves the garlic paste and the hummus from this restaurant we order from this restaurant constantly we have two children, and it’s hard to take them to restaurants most of the time so that is the reason why we order constantly from this place Tonight my husband had A craving for the hummus and the pita bread with the garlic paste so he said I’m going to go in there and just order it I said OK so me and my son waited in the car. My husband went in there there was somebody else in front of him who placed their order and was waiting for their food. My husband ordered pita bread, hummus, and garlic paste. That is it. It took them 25 minutes to give my husband his order have in mind. There’s nobody in this restaurant. There’s very few people there’s one guy sitting in the hookah lounge and there’s three people at the end of the restaurant that are already eating Two other people walked in five minutes before my husband finally got his order and they were seated So there’s very little amount of people in this restaurant have in mind my husband did not order any food and what I mean by that is hot food the not kebabs rice, just hummus, garlic paste and pita bread, which is already stored in the kitchen and it’s premade it does not take 25 minutes to hand somebody these few items in a bag and give it to them Now the first gentleman that was already in the restaurant, placing his order and already received his to go order after he received his order. My husband waited another 10 minutes, which in total was 25 minutes. I called him while I was in the car waiting and I said what is taking so long all you ordered was bread and hummus. This doesn’t make any sense. He said I don’t know what’s going on, but I feel very uncomfortable and I feel very unwanted. I don’t know what I did, but for some reason they’re making me wait this long and I don’t know why

I said OK I’m gonna come in and I’m going to talk to them. He said no let me get my order. I don’t wanna say anything. I already feel weird. Don’t say anything.

Well, eventually, he finally got the order at this point. I am boiling over as soon as he gets in the car I get off the car I go in there and the lady who is the server and who gets the food comes to me and I ask her I said Why did my husband wait 25 minutes for bread and hummus it just doesn’t make sense to me she replies and says I don’t know I’m not the chef I replied I said ma’am that doesn’t make any sense to me. He didn’t order actual hot food. He literally just ordered bread and hummus and garlic paste. It’s already premade. It doesn’t take 25 minutes she repeated her same sentence. I don’t know. I’m not the chef Then I said OK. Obviously, you must have some type of racial issue with us because my husband is Romani and for some reason you have some type of issue. She was very angry she then proceeded to say I don’t know what you’re talking about and there’s nothing I can do for you. I looked at her and I said I’m going to leave a review and let people know how you treated us and how this is wrong. She told me go ahead and do that then I may have called her a Karen sorry not sorry I don’t mind waiting for food if there’s a lot of stuff going on and there’s a lot of people and it’s busy I completely understand. My dad has a restaurant so I totally understand the ends and out of how a restaurant works and how it gets hectic and it’s not easy. I totally get it And I could even get it if there was only one person working, but there was clearly two servers there anybody could’ve went in the back in the kitchen, went into the fridge, grab the three items and put them in the bag and gave it to him. It was no more than a five minute wait tops Especially because there was hardly anybody in the restaurant. Therefore, this is why I’m leaving this review. I don’t like leaving reviews. I don’t like being angry or feeling this way, but nobody should be treated the way my husband was...

YOUR FOOD GAVE ME DIARRHEA ! First off, the salad was a small portion compared to posts that I viewed. Moreover, the salad was a basic salad of just lettuce and a tiny amount of salad dressing. No pickled toppings as stated in menu, but also disappointing because other Mediterranean restaurants I have eaten at have tomatoes, cucumbers, pickles, green bell peppers, olives, etc. To add, the lettuce was older and the romaine was showing brown and was wilted. Additionally, other pictures show the Chicken Tawook Kabob plate as containing two well chard onion quarters, where as mine only had one. Mine sadly also tasted like a pure onion, which I believe most people will agree is not as enjoyable. The pita also was not hot, or at minimum warm. Lastly, not everyone likes soda, especially with the hot weather. It was disappointing to spend ~$50 for a meal and to have it accompanied by a cup of water that tasted like bad pipes. I normally like sink water, but this was bad water. I would classify this water as toilet water. One final note to the owner, your grandsons and/or two children that walk in the front of the restaurant and go back and forth between there and the kitchen should be better watched. It was not inviting to arrive at the restaurant to have two boys in soccer jerseys holding cups of ice and lodging cubes of ice at each as we enter the restaurant doors. Then, to see them walk in the back and learn that they were going back there without washing hands, etc was not comforting. This is not hygienic or sanitary at all. They are old enough to behave properly, have better manners, and most important, those running the kitchen should have stricter rules regarding kitchen preparation protocol. I will reiterate though, please provide better water- a Brita filter pitcher would have saved the meal and costs pennies on the dollar. Note: I tried to call back per his advisement and he kept telling me...
