It's about 4 time I stopped to have dinner in this place but instead of get better service and food, I got worse, the good part always is been the cantaloupe flavor natural drink, I love it, but this last time I got there with family and friends I recommended them the "molcajete" which it used to be well served with enough beef, chicken, shrimp plus rice and beans, but this last time it was a bad dish, they put a very tiny piece of beef, a very tiny and thin piece of chicken plus few over cook shrimp and for the price it disappointed me so bad, specially because I recommended it to my friends, second part: the molcajete said in menu $14.99 price was reasonable when the first time I tried becuase well served, but they increase the price (new price not showed in the menu) and they reduced the quantity and quality of this dish, they must change menus when prices change is the third one. Reviews for most Mexican restaurants are no relevant, why? I spent 15 years working on the restaurant industry and all of my bosses cared a lot for quality of food and service and when they found a bad review anywhere, I meant magazine, on line or by phone, they did and still doing the best to do better but and some Mexicans restaurant we give a review but they don't give a penny for that, I know because I saw a few times hiw their managers apologize with clients but behind them they tell to the workers don't pay a ttention to that. And to end just part of this review, before this last time I was there with my wife and a friend, she ordered some dish, 1: they forgot my wife's dish 2: when we told the waiter, she run to the kitchen and brought a wrong dish, 3: when my wife tested and notice that it was not the right one she told the waiter but she argue saying that that was what she order it, my wife didn't want to argue and said put in box to go then the waiter took it to the kitchen and when we opened the box we saw only the main stuff which I guess was fish and then my wife asked her where is the side items? And then she said you ate it, which was wrong she ate some but not all of it. Well this is the second bad experience, I think we are not going back, the only thing I highly recommend is the cantaloupe natural drink. I'm not going back and if I do is just to see if they considered my review and some others I read. A good place to try molcajete is in mega taco on beaver ruin close to Indian trail, in there molcajete is enough for 2 people if want to share it comes wit enough beef, enough chicken, shrimps , Mexican sausage, cheese and your sides items...

I went here yesterday with my family to eat. Honestly the food was great and the environment was great too. The only thing was that i ordered a refill of an horchata i understand its an extra charge. The lady never brought me my refill. So i let it go than i asked the other waitress if she can bring me an horchata to go because we were done eating and i knew the check was coming soon so i ordered before them bringing the check for them to add it. She never brought me my horchata to go. So than they brought the check and i see that they charged me for the horchata refills that i asked for but never received. So i went to the bar and let both the waitresses know that i told and she was like oh you already paid your bill we would have to charge you and im like ummm no i already paid for them and i never received them can i just get my horchata to go. And they were like no i brought it to you the 2nd time you asked and im like where because never received it and she had the nerve to say it should be on the table look for it. Im like ummm no it is not. Than i told them other girl to bring me one to go but she never did and you guys stll charged me for that and she was like i never put it in. And i am like yes you did its literally here on the receipt and you never brought it. So you mean to tell me i ordered something that you say you never put in and just forgot about my drink completely. I literally was going back and forth with these 2 waitresses who forgets people drinks apparently but still charges them and says they never charged us or they did bring it over. I am 37 weeks pregnant and i was tired of going back and forth over a drink so i was like ok you know what forget it and left. So please becareful always check your receipt before paying and making sure everything looks correct and making sure you are paying for what you received and not paying for things that you never received. I had the WORST experience here. The girl at the checkout “Monica” took our Togo order and we left to run a quick errand while they prepared our food. We came back about 15 mins later grabbed our food and went home. When we got home we discovered that we didn’t get the 2 sides of salsa we ordered, so we went back and checked our receipt and saw that she charged us for 3 chips and salsa instead of the 2 that I asked for. She rectified that by giving us a free queso, it was annoying because we had to leave the house again after a long day of working but mistakes happen. However, after coming home and opening the food we ordered i noticed that I got 2 sides of beans with my chipotle chicken when I only asked to sub the veggies for beans and to keep the rice that already comes with it. Come to find out, we were charged extra for two sides of beans instead of the substitution I asked for. Annoyed, I called the store and Monica was very rude and I was very irritated. She refused to provide a solution to the issue, refused to refund any of the money, refused to give the contact information to any manager or owner so that they could solve the issue. We ended up having to drive all the way back to the store again due to her lack of solutions, cursing at us over the phone, and continuously putting us on hold because she needed to “talk to herself,” which I don’t understand...I would absolutely not recommend this establishment.
